E-3 Visa Registered Radiologic Technologist Jobs
Registered Radiologic Technologist roles qualify as E-3 specialty occupations, requiring a bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field. Australian radiographers can secure sponsorship without competing in the H-1B lottery, and your two-year E-3 status renews indefinitely as long as you maintain qualifying employment.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
Verify your ARRT credentials transfer correctly
Australian radiography qualifications must map to U.S. ARRT certification standards before any employer can file your LCA. Get your credentials evaluated by a DOL-recognized assessment body before you start applying, so employers see a visa-ready candidate from the first conversation.
Target hospital systems with active LCA history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data to identify hospital networks and imaging centers that have filed LCAs for radiologic technologist roles. These employers already understand the E-3 process and won't need convincing that sponsorship is feasible.
Search Migrate Mate for E-3 sponsorship roles
Migrate Mate filters jobs by visa sponsorship type, so you can find Registered Radiologic Technologist openings where employers are already prepared to sponsor E-3 applicants, rather than cold-approaching employers who have never navigated the process.
Clarify state licensure requirements before accepting offers
Each U.S. state issues its own radiologic technologist license, and requirements vary. Confirm with your prospective employer which state license you need, how long endorsement takes, and whether they'll support the application, since your start date may depend on licensure approval.
Get your employer to file the LCA before your interview
The LCA must be certified by the DOL before your consulate appointment. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so nothing delays your interview scheduling once you have a signed offer letter in hand.
Understand how imaging speciality affects your SOC code
DOL classifies radiologic technologists under a specific Standard Occupational Classification code, but subspecialties like MRI, CT, or interventional radiology can affect how your LCA is drafted. Confirm your employer lists the correct modality in the job description to avoid an LCA mismatch at the consulate.

Find Registered Radiologic Technologist JobsRegistered Radiologic Technologist E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Registered Radiologic Technologist jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals seeking U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. You can filter by job title and visa type to find Registered Radiologic Technologist openings where employers are already prepared to sponsor, rather than applying broadly and discovering late in the process that sponsorship isn't available.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Registered Radiologic Technologist role qualify as an E-3 specialty occupation?
Yes. Radiologic technology qualifies as a specialty occupation under the E-3 visa because the role normally requires a bachelor's degree or higher in radiologic technology, imaging sciences, or a closely related field. You'll need to provide evidence of your degree and any relevant ARRT or equivalent credentialing to support this at the consulate.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Australian radiologic technologists?
The E-3 is significantly more accessible. The H-1B is subject to an annual cap of 85,000 and a randomised lottery, meaning qualified candidates are frequently excluded through no fault of their own. The E-3 has its own annual allocation of 10,500 visas, which has never been fully used, so you can apply at any time of year without lottery risk.
Can I change imaging employers or modalities without restarting my E-3?
Changing employers always requires a new LCA and a new visa application, regardless of whether you're staying in the same modality. Changing modalities within the same employer may also require an amended LCA if the DOL job classification changes. Start the new LCA process as early as possible to avoid any gap in your work authorisation.
