About the role and team
Leading at Uber means setting direction in motion, not waiting for perfect conditions. As a Program Leader, you will act as a strategic and organizational partner to senior leadership, driving the high-leverage initiatives that keep our global support engine running. You will build high-performing teams in ambiguous environments, making hard calls under pressure and carrying the weight of decisions that define how we support millions of users across the globe.
We are looking for a Program Lead, AV Remote Assistance Operations Enablement, to lead operational readiness, execution quality and performance management for the Remote Assistance program. This role will sit at the intersection of product operations, partner management and program execution and ensure that Uber's Remote Assistance program is operationally ready, technically enabled and consistently executing to Uber's standards.
This is a high-judgment role for someone who can navigate ambiguity, work cross-functionally, use data to drive decisions and communicate clearly with senior leaders.
- Lead Operationalization: Incorporate program and operational standards into clear implementation plans, workstreams, owners, timelines, dependencies and success criteria.
- Own Launch Execution: Create readiness checklists, launch trackers, risk registers, decision logs and stabilization plans.
- Build Operating Cadences: Establish weekly business reviews, launch readiness forums, issue triage cadences and other highly cross-functional meetings.
- Manage Performance Metrics: Use operational data to drive clear recommendations for leadership, internal teams and partner stakeholders.
- Own Change Management: Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Training, Analytics, Safety and external partners to ensure product and process changes are ready for operational deployment.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, product operations, consulting, strategy or analytics
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with remote assistance, remote support, technical support, command center operations or real-time operational workflows.
- Experience managing complex operational programs involving cross-functional internal teams and external partners or vendors.
- Experience building operational readiness plans, launch frameworks, process documentation, performance management mechanisms and governance structures.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience defining metrics, interpreting operational data, building scorecards and using data to drive decisions.
- Strong technical fluency, with the ability to quickly understand complex tools, workflows, systems and product constraints.
- Experience working with Product, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, Training, Safety, Compliance or similar technical and operational teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level updates, business reviews or decision documents.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, impose structure and drive alignment without direct authority.
- Strong judgment, attention to detail and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $162,000 per year - USD $180,000 per year.
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.

Frame your degree for specialty occupation
E-3 visa eligibility requires your degree to align with the specific role. A business or marketing degree maps cleanly to Sales Enablement Manager, but a mismatched field needs a credential evaluation showing how your coursework supports the job duties.
Target companies with LCA filing history
Search DOL's disclosure data for employers who have filed Labor Condition Applications for sales enablement or related titles. A company that has navigated LCA certification before understands the process and is far less likely to stall at the employer side.
Address cross-functional scope in your resume
Sales enablement sits between sales, marketing, and revenue operations. U.S. employers reviewing E-3 petitions look for clear specialty occupation evidence, so your resume should explicitly name the technical and analytical competencies that distinguish this role from general sales management.
Clarify the LCA timeline with your hiring manager
DOL certifies the LCA within seven business days in most cases, but your employer must post public notice for ten consecutive business days before filing. Build this into your negotiated start date so neither side is caught off-guard after the offer.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the paperwork
Once you have a signed offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end. This keeps the process on track and removes the administrative burden from an employer who may be sponsoring an Australian for the first time.
Prepare for nonimmigrant intent questions at the consulate
Consular officers assess whether you intend to return to Australia. Sales enablement leaders often have global career trajectories, so come prepared to articulate your ties to Australia and frame your U.S. move as a defined professional chapter rather than an open-ended relocation.
E-3 Visa Sales Enablement Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Sales Enablement Manager jobs with E-3 sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for Sales Enablement Manager roles at U.S. employers with E-3 visa sponsorship history. Standard job searches don't filter by visa type or LCA filing history, so you end up cold-approaching companies that may have no experience sponsoring Australians. Migrate Mate surfaces employers already familiar with the E-3 process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does Sales Enablement Manager qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes. USCIS defines specialty occupation as a role requiring a theoretical and practical application of highly specialized knowledge and at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Sales Enablement Manager qualifies when the employer's job description requires a degree in business, marketing, organizational psychology, or a related discipline, and when the duties involve developing training frameworks, sales methodology, and performance analytics rather than general account management.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Sales Enablement Manager roles?
The E-3 has a 10,500 annual cap that has never been exhausted, meaning there is no lottery and you can apply any time of year. The H-1B visa has an oversubscribed lottery with a selection rate well below 50% for most applicants. For Australians in sales enablement, the E-3 is a direct, predictable path, while the H-1B involves a registration gamble before any employer paperwork can begin.
Can I switch employers while on an E-3 as a Sales Enablement Manager?
Yes, but you cannot port your existing E-3 status to a new employer the way an H-1B holder can under AC21 portability. Your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need to attend a new consulate appointment to receive an updated visa stamp. Plan for a four-to-six week process from offer acceptance to appointment booking, and don't resign until the new LCA is certified.
