Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a SAP Business Analyst
Align your degree to the SAP role
U.S. consular officers assess whether your specific degree field supports the SAP Business Analyst title. A degree in information systems, business information technology, or computer science strengthens your case more than a general business degree alone.
Target employers with active LCA filings
SAP implementations run through consulting firms and large enterprise IT departments. Search DOL's Foreign Labor Application Gateway for certified LCAs under job titles like SAP Functional Analyst or Business Systems Analyst to identify employers already familiar with E-3 sponsorship.
Clarify sponsorship before your final interview round
Many SAP consulting firms sponsor visas routinely but don't advertise it. Raise the E-3 specifically, not just 'visa sponsorship,' since the no-lottery structure and employer-side simplicity often overcome hesitation that H-1B requirements create.
Get your SAP certifications documented for the consulate
Your SAP module certifications, S/4HANA training records, and project implementation letters serve as supporting evidence at the consulate. Organize these alongside your degree transcripts before your employer files the LCA so nothing delays your appointment.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the full process
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA submission, DS-160, and consulate preparation. SAP roles often have nuanced specialty occupation arguments that benefit from structured documentation support.
Understand the E-3 start date and notice of filing rules
Your employer must post a notice of the LCA filing at the worksite for ten consecutive business days before DOL certifies it. Factor this into your start date negotiation so your timeline doesn't catch your employer or you off guard.

Find SAP Business Analyst JobsSAP Business Analyst E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I find SAP Business Analyst jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles that include E-3 visa sponsorship. The platform surfaces SAP Business Analyst positions at employers with documented sponsorship history, so you're not cold-applying and hoping the hiring manager understands the E-3. Start your search there to filter directly for roles that fit your visa status.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an SAP Business Analyst role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, SAP Business Analyst roles consistently qualify as specialty occupations because the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as information systems, computer science, or business information technology. The DOL's O*NET classifies business systems analysts in Job Zone 4, which aligns with the degree-required threshold. Your offer letter and job description should explicitly state the degree requirement to support the LCA and visa application.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for SAP Business Analyst roles?
The E-3 has no annual cap and no lottery, so your employer can file and you can start without waiting for a selection cycle. H-1B requires registration in April, and most applicants aren't selected. For SAP roles, where project timelines are fixed and client deployments can't wait a year, the E-3's immediate availability is a practical advantage that many consulting firms and enterprise IT departments prefer once they understand it.
Can I switch SAP modules or employers after starting on an E-3?
You can change employers, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp if you travel internationally before the change is complete. Changing SAP modules within the same employer generally doesn't require a new visa as long as the specialty occupation basis remains the same, but a material change in job duties or location can trigger a new LCA filing.
