Data ceaselessly informs our flywheel, helping us to understand customer needs, onboard new sellers and selection, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Business Data Technologies (BDT) provides trustworthy, intuitive, and cost-efficient solutions for Amazonians to secure, store, analyze, and transform this data at unparalleled scale. BDT owns, develops, and operates Andes, one of the largest data lakes in the world, storing 3+ exabytes of data, read/written to by 100k+ data pipelines, with >60k monthly active users. To do this, we need extraordinary individuals to build the next generation of data analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions for thousands of scientists, engineers, and analysts who rely upon us to get their jobs done.

As part of a broader team, you collaborate with other technical program managers to ensure that work in your space aligns with work and plans of other teams across BDT and other organizations. You establish mechanisms for inspection and awareness of progress across cross cutting initiatives.
Data drives your “flywheel”. You analyze data to glean insights that drive experimentation. You leverage data such as service telemetry, user feedback, and industry trends to surface opportunities for improvement. You take what’s proven and partner with Amazon organizations to apply and scale it. You define, implement, and monitor metrics that track your progress.
You partner with Amazon’s business orgs to test hypotheses and deploy AI-based solutions to reduce friction and risk of errors in the ways that businesses use data.
You give feedback on narratives, contribute to strategy (e.g., OP1 planning), set goals, discuss weekly business metrics, and more.
You partner with Amazon’s PXT organization to evolve and optimize roles guidelines and org design best practices to align with the way businesses are evolving their practices around getting insights from their data.
You partner with engineering, human resources, legal, documentation, solution architecture, privacy, finance, and more to optimize usage of the Andes data lake for AI-based methodologies.
As an owner, you hold yourself and partners accountable for the highest quality user outcomes.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Solutions Architect Manager
Frame your degree equivalency early
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are accepted by USCIS as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 visa specialty occupation purposes. Get a credential evaluation letter prepared before interviews so employers aren't uncertain about your qualifications.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Companies that have previously filed Labor Condition Applications for architecture or engineering roles already understand the E-3 process. DOL's OFLC disclosure database lets you verify which employers have filed for comparable positions before you apply.
Clarify the sponsorship scope in offer negotiations
E-3 sponsorship requires your employer to file the LCA, but the visa itself is consular-processed. Confirm during negotiations whether the company will cover government fees and whether they use internal HR or an external filing service to manage the paperwork.
Address multi-site management in your LCA documentation
Solutions Architect Manager roles often involve oversight across multiple client or office locations. Each primary worksite needs to be listed on the LCA, so document your expected work locations accurately to avoid compliance issues with DOL prevailing wage requirements.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for end-to-end support
Once you have an offer, Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service handles your LCA submission, visa application paperwork, and consulate preparation. This removes the risk of employer HR teams mishandling specialty occupation documentation for a management-level technical role.
Search specifically for E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
General job searches rarely surface which employers are open to E-3 sponsorship for senior architecture roles. Migrate Mate filters opportunities by visa sponsorship type so you're only contacting companies that already understand the E-3 process.
E-3 Visa Solutions Architect Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Solutions Architect Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search for Solutions Architect Manager roles where employers are already open to E-3 sponsorship. Most general job boards don't filter by visa type, so you end up cold-pitching companies that have never filed an LCA. Migrate Mate surfaces roles matched to E-3 eligibility, saving you from applications that go nowhere.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Solutions Architect Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes. USCIS recognizes Solutions Architect Manager positions as specialty occupations because the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or software engineering. The key test is whether the job normally requires a specific technical degree, not just any degree, and architecture management roles consistently meet that standard.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Solutions Architect Manager roles?
The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens but has significant structural advantages for this role. There's no lottery, no annual cap, and you can apply at a U.S. consulate directly after receiving an offer. H-1B visa registrations for the same seniority level now face selection rates below 25%, meaning most candidates wait years. For Australians, the E-3 makes U.S. employment far more predictable.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on an E-3 as a Solutions Architect Manager?
You can change employers, but the new company must file a fresh LCA before you start. A promotion that changes your job title, duties, or work location typically requires an updated LCA as well. The E-3 is tied to the specific position and employer listed on your LCA, so any material change needs to be documented with DOL before it takes effect.
