Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Strategy Manager
Frame your credentials for specialty occupation
Your Australian bachelor's degree is accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree, but your job title must map to a defined specialty occupation. Document how your Strategy Manager role requires theoretical and practical application of a specific body of knowledge.
Target firms with active LCA filing history
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications for strategy and management roles. Employers already familiar with LCA certification are far less likely to stall on E-3 sponsorship paperwork after an offer.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service post-offer
Once you have a written offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. This avoids the delays that happen when employers try to manage DOL and consulate requirements without a dedicated process in place.
Align your offer letter to DOL wage requirements
The LCA your employer files must certify your offered wage meets the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location. Flag this requirement before negotiating final compensation so the offer letter reflects a compliant wage from the start.
Prepare for nonimmigrant intent questions at the consulate
Strategy Manager candidates with long U.S. tenure goals face closer scrutiny on nonimmigrant intent. Bring documentation showing your Australian ties, such as property ownership, family, or professional registrations, to support your visa interview at Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth.

Find Strategy Manager JobsStrategy Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Strategy Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for E-3 visa sponsorship roles in the U.S. You can filter Strategy Manager positions by companies that have a demonstrated history of sponsoring E-3 or related specialty occupation visas, which saves you from applying to employers who won't engage with the sponsorship process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Strategy Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, economics, finance, or a related discipline. Roles where any degree suffices regardless of field can fall short of the specialty occupation standard. The job description and your credentials both need to align with a defined body of specialized knowledge.
How does the E-3 visa compare to the H-1B for Strategy Manager roles?
The E-3 is exclusive to Australian nationals and has no annual lottery, no cap registration window, and no wait on selection. H-1B registrations are entered into a randomized lottery each March, and selection isn't guaranteed. For a Strategy Manager with a U.S. job offer in hand, the E-3 can move from LCA filing to consulate appointment in weeks rather than months.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on an E-3 as a Strategy Manager?
Changing employers requires your new company to file a fresh LCA and receive DOL certification before you begin work. A promotion or title change that materially alters your job duties may also require an updated LCA. The E-3 itself is employer-specific, so any change in role or company triggers a new filing cycle, though there's no lottery or cap involved.
