Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Territory Business Manager
Frame your credentials for U.S. specialty occupation
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees qualify for E-3 visa purposes, but your degree field must align with the Territory Business Manager role. Prepare a credential evaluation that maps your qualification to the U.S. equivalent before approaching employers.
Target employers with established LCA filing histories
Companies that have previously filed Labor Condition Applications for business development or sales management roles already understand the E-3 process. Search DOL disclosure data to identify employers with active LCA filings in territory management job categories.
Address E-3 sponsorship early in salary negotiations
The LCA requires your offered salary to meet or exceed the DOL prevailing wage for the role and location. Raise E-3 sponsorship requirements before accepting an offer so the employer can file the LCA with accurate compensation details.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for end-to-end preparation
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. This removes the administrative burden from both you and your employer and keeps the process moving toward your consulate appointment.
Clarify multi-state territory travel with your employer
Territory Business Manager roles often involve travel across multiple states. Your LCA must list your primary work location, and working extensively outside that area can create compliance issues. Confirm your employer's understanding of LCA worksite requirements before filing.
Align your consulate appointment with your start date
E-3 visas are issued at Australian consulates, not through USCIS, so your timeline depends on appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth. Book your interview slot as soon as your certified LCA is in hand to avoid delaying your start date.
E-3 Visa Territory Business Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Territory Business Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search Territory Business Manager roles filtered specifically for E-3 visa sponsorship, so you're not wasting time on listings from employers unfamiliar with the visa. The platform surfaces companies with relevant hiring histories, which shortens the sponsorship conversation significantly.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Territory Business Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for E-3 purposes?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business administration, marketing, or management. Roles where any degree field is accepted regardless of relevance are harder to support. Your offer letter and job description should clearly state the degree requirement and how it relates to the duties.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Territory Business Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery, so there's no registration gamble in April and no waiting until October to start work. Australian nationals can apply at a consulate as soon as a certified LCA is ready, making the hiring timeline far more predictable. H-1B visa requires employer sponsorship through USCIS with an uncertain selection outcome, while E-3 moves directly from offer to consulate appointment.
Can I switch Territory Business Manager employers while on an E-3 visa?
Yes, but the E-3 is employer-specific, so you can't simply transfer your status. Your new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL, and you'll typically need to attend a new consulate appointment to receive an updated E-3 visa reflecting the change. Some Australians on E-3 time their employer change around a planned trip home to handle the appointment without an additional international trip.
