Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Training Coordinator
Align your degree to the role description
Your Australian bachelor's degree must match the Training Coordinator position by field, not just level. A degree in human resources, instructional design, or education is a stronger credential than a general business degree when the job posting specifies training methodology.
Target employers with dedicated L&D functions
Large enterprises in healthcare, financial services, and technology maintain internal training departments with established HR infrastructure, making E-3 sponsorship a routine process rather than an unfamiliar ask for their legal teams.
Request the specialty occupation determination early
Some employers hesitate because Training Coordinator roles aren't always recognized as specialty occupations. Pull the DOL O*NET classification for Training and Development Specialists, which requires a bachelor's degree, and share it with the hiring manager before the offer stage.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for LCA and paperwork
The LCA must be DOL-certified before your consulate appointment, and errors in the prevailing wage determination can delay or invalidate your application. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle the LCA, DS-160, and consulate preparation end-to-end.
Prepare a credential equivalency letter for three-year degrees
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted for E-3 purposes, but some consular officers request a credential evaluation. Commission a foreign credential evaluation report before your interview to address the equivalency question before it becomes a problem.
Clarify E-3 renewal terms before accepting an offer
Unlike H-1B, the E-3 renews in two-year increments with no cap on renewals, so your continued employment doesn't depend on lottery outcomes. Confirm your employer understands this at offer stage so the sponsorship commitment isn't treated as a one-time arrangement.

Find Training Coordinator JobsTraining Coordinator E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Training Coordinator jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Standard job boards rarely filter by visa type, so most E-3 sponsorship searches require manual outreach or specialized tools. Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals and surfaces Training Coordinator roles at employers with active E-3 and LCA filing history, so you're targeting companies already familiar with the process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Training Coordinator role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as human resources, instructional design, organizational development, or education. The DOL classifies Training and Development Specialists under an occupation requiring a four-year degree. Roles described as requiring any bachelor's degree regardless of field can face closer scrutiny at the consulate.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Training Coordinator positions?
The E-3 is strictly available to Australian citizens and has a 10,500 annual allocation that has never been fully used, so there's no lottery and no waiting period. The H-1B is open to all nationalities but requires winning a lottery with roughly a one-in-four selection rate. For Australians, the E-3 is the more predictable and faster path to a Training Coordinator role in the U.S.
Can my employer file the E-3 LCA if they've never sponsored a visa before?
Yes. There's no prior sponsorship history required. The employer files the LCA through the DOL's FLAG portal, certifying that the role meets prevailing wage standards for the location. First-time sponsors often underestimate the DOL wage level requirements or make errors in the job description, which is where professional filing support reduces the risk of delays.
