Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Training Program Manager
Frame your credentials around specialty occupation
U.S. consular officers assess whether a Training Program Manager role genuinely requires a degree, not just prefers one. Make sure your offer letter specifies a required field of study, not a general preference, to clear the specialty occupation threshold.
Target employers with dedicated L&D functions
Mid-to-large companies with standalone learning and development departments are far more likely to understand E-3 sponsorship than those treating training as an HR side task. Corporate training teams at tech, healthcare, and financial services firms regularly hire on this visa.
Search for E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Training Program Manager listings by E-3 visa sponsorship directly. It surfaces employers who have filed Labor Condition Applications for this role type, saving you from pitching sponsorship cold to employers unfamiliar with the process.
Address the LCA wage requirement in salary negotiations
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application certifying your wage meets the DOL prevailing wage for Training Program Manager roles in that metro area. Negotiate with that floor in mind to avoid an LCA certification delay caused by a wage adjustment request.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork
Once you have an offer, the filing sequence moves quickly: LCA certification, DS-160 completion, and consulate appointment scheduling. Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service manages the entire process from offer to consulate appointment, reducing the risk of paperwork errors that delay your start date.
Prepare a degree equivalency brief if your qualification is a three-year Australian bachelor's
Three-year Australian bachelor's degrees are generally accepted as equivalent to four-year U.S. degrees for E-3 purposes, but some consular officers will probe this. Have your academic transcripts translated and a credential evaluation ready to clarify equivalency if asked.

Find Training Program Manager JobsTraining Program Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Training Program Manager jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find Training Program Manager roles where employers are already open to E-3 sponsorship. Standard job searches surface listings without visa context, meaning you often spend weeks in conversations before discovering an employer won't sponsor. Migrate Mate filters by sponsorship willingness so you start from a qualified shortlist.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Training Program Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3 visa?
Yes, provided the employer's job description specifies a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as human resources, instructional design, organizational development, or education as a genuine requirement. Roles where any degree, or no degree at all, would be considered acceptable do not meet the specialty occupation definition and will not support an E-3 application.
How does the E-3 visa compare to the H-1B for Training Program Manager roles?
The E-3 is significantly more practical for this role. H-1B requires entering an annual lottery with no guaranteed selection, while the E-3 has a 10,500 annual allocation that has never been fully used. You can apply directly at a U.S. consulate in Australia once your employer's Labor Condition Application is certified, with no USCIS petition required and no wait for a lottery result.
Can I switch employers while working in the U.S. on an E-3 as a Training Program Manager?
Yes, but your new employer must file a fresh Labor Condition Application and you'll need to obtain a new E-3 visa stamp before starting with them, or file a change of status with USCIS if you're already in the country. You cannot simply transfer your current E-3 to a new employer the way some other visa categories allow. Plan for a two-to-four week processing gap minimum.
