Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Warehouse Operations Manager
Translate your qualifications for U.S. standards
Your Australian three-year bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business qualifies as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 visa purposes. Get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator before you start applying so employers don't hesitate.
Target employers with existing LCA filing history
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications for operations or supply chain management roles. A warehouse employer who has done it before moves faster and makes fewer mistakes during your sponsorship process.
Frame the specialty occupation case early
Warehouse Operations Manager roles must meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard, which means the position genuinely requires a specific bachelor's degree. During interviews, clarify that your role involves analytical, planning, or systems functions, not just floor supervision.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service after an offer
Once you have a written offer, your employer needs to file an LCA with DOL before your visa application can proceed. Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service manages the entire process from offer to consulate appointment, so your employer doesn't need to engage an immigration lawyer independently.
Clarify E-3 timelines during the offer stage
The DOL LCA typically certifies within seven business days, and most Australian consulates schedule E-3 interviews within two to four weeks. Sharing this timeline with hiring managers removes the assumption that visa sponsorship means a months-long delay before your start date.
Search for roles on Migrate Mate with E-3 sponsorship filters
Generic job searches don't surface which warehouse and logistics employers are open to E-3 sponsorship. Migrate Mate lists Warehouse Operations Manager positions from employers who are actively willing to sponsor Australian nationals, so you're not wasting applications on roles that won't move forward.
E-3 Visa Warehouse Operations Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Warehouse Operations Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search. It surfaces Warehouse Operations Manager listings from employers who are open to E-3 sponsorship for Australian professionals, filtering out the noise of roles where sponsorship isn't on the table. From there, you can apply directly and initiate the filing process without needing a separate immigration lawyer.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Warehouse Operations Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
It can, but the framing matters. USCIS requires that the position normally requires a specific bachelor's degree in a related field, such as supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, or business. A role that primarily involves floor supervision without analytical or systems planning responsibilities is harder to qualify. Positions that involve network design, inventory optimization, or multi-site coordination typically meet the standard more clearly.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Warehouse Operations Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual cap and no lottery, which means you can apply at any time of year and don't risk being excluded by a random selection process. The H-1B visa is capped at 85,000 per year and heavily oversubscribed, so many qualified applicants are never selected. For Australian nationals in warehousing and logistics roles, the E-3 is a far more reliable path to U.S. employment.
What documents does my employer need to file for my E-3 visa?
Your employer starts by filing a Labor Condition Application with DOL, which certifies that the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for the role and location. Once the LCA is certified, usually within seven business days, you can apply for the E-3 visa at an Australian consulate using the DS-160 form, the certified LCA, and a support letter from your employer confirming the role and salary.
