This is an on-site role based at LVT's American Fork, Utah office, reporting to our Senior Producer on the Brand/Film team. You'll partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales to bring campaigns, product launches, and company events to life on screen, and support LVT's live events, including our annual S3, with on-site production support and travel as needed.

- Deadline-tested: Manages multiple concurrent deliverables under tight, executive-facing deadlines without losing quality

Editor Jobs in Utah: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a editor in Utah?
Editors in Utah are not required to hold a state-issued license or certification, so the path runs through education and portfolio development. Most Utah employers expect a bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a closely related field. Building clips through university publications, internships at Utah media outlets, or content roles at local organizations strengthens a candidacy considerably. Specializing early in a high-demand area such as technical editing or digital content gives applicants a clear edge in the Utah market.
Which companies hire editors in Utah?
Companies currently hiring editors in Utah include University of Utah, Clearlink, and LIT METHOD, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Utah's mix of technology companies, educational publishers, and media organizations creates consistent editorial demand across both full-time and contract roles.
Which Utah cities have the most editor jobs?
Salt Lake City, Roy, and Lehi are the Utah cities with the most editor openings. Salt Lake City leads as the state's commercial and media hub, home to major employers in technology, healthcare communications, and publishing, while Provo's concentration of tech companies and Brigham Young University drives demand in the Utah Valley corridor, and Ogden's growing business community adds to openings in the northern part of the state.
Are there remote editor jobs in Utah?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 67% of editor openings tied to Utah are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how well editing translates to asynchronous, document-based work. Roles in digital content strategy, technical writing review, and online publishing tend to offer the most location flexibility, while positions tied to print production or in-person editorial meetings are more likely to require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a editor in Utah with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through editorial assistant or junior content coordinator roles, which Utah employers in educational publishing and technology content regularly post as stepping stones into editing. Contributing to university newspapers or literary journals at institutions like the University of Utah or Utah Valley University builds a portfolio that hiring managers recognize. Lateral moves from roles such as proofreader, content writer, or communications coordinator are common, and candidates who demonstrate AP or Chicago style proficiency and a clean editing sample set consistently advance faster in the Utah hiring process.
Where can I find and apply to editor jobs in Utah?
You can find and apply to editor jobs in Utah on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers hiring in the state right now. Search the roles that fit your experience level and specialty, then apply directly to the ones that match. No signup is needed to see the listings.
