Job Title: Project Manager EI, Electrical Engineering
Overview: Consulting firm located in Knoxville, Tennessee seeks project manager / engineering intern with an ABET Accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Job Description: The position will be a member of design project teams and will work with the LICENSED electrical engineer in charge of the work. The position will grow in responsibility as skills are demonstrated and progress toward professional licensure. The job involves design, CAD drafting, and BIM modeling of electrical systems for projects ranging from commercial, institutional, federal, and industrial facilities. The position will also prepare lighting, power systems, and other similar electrical systems calculations and analyses.
Job Requirements: Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited school. EI/FE preferred (on track for professional licensure). Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
CAD skills using AutoCAD products required, with the ability to also use REVIT BIM software a definite plus. Previous experience in A-E design is also a plus.
Other Required Skills: Experience in lighting, power, and communications design is a plus. Communications skills (written and oral) are essential. The ideal candidate will be a team player and have excellent organizational skills. Coordination with other disciplines and group members is also required. .
