Positions AvailableElectrical Technician II – Experienced Technician
Ideal for an electrical technician with solid field experience who is capable of performing residential and light commercial electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting with limited supervision, consistent with applicable licensing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems.
- Diagnose electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Install and service outlets, switches, lighting, circuits, panels, and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Perform electrical upgrades, equipment connections, and installations.
- Follow National Electrical Code (NEC), state and local regulations, and company safety standards.
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in mentoring and supporting entry-level technicians and apprentices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of relevant electrical field experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial electrical systems.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently within applicable supervision requirements.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Electrical Technician III – Senior / Lead Technician
Ideal for a highly experienced electrical professional with advanced troubleshooting capabilities, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to lead complex electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced electrical diagnostics, repairs, installations, and system upgrades.
- Lead complex residential and commercial electrical projects.
- Troubleshoot challenging electrical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Interpret detailed electrical plans, specifications, and code requirements.
- Coordinate job materials, equipment, and project completion.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Maintain high standards for workmanship, safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with management to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee electrical work only to the extent authorized by applicable New Jersey credentialing and supervision requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of electrical field experience.
- Advanced knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
- Experience leading electrical installations or projects.
- Thorough understanding of NEC and applicable electrical codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- New Jersey electrical credentials appropriate to assigned duties are preferred.
