About the role
Develops and implements outreach and engagement programs and events related to priority issues for the Illinois Farm Bureau (IFB). Updates and disseminates information, monitors trends, and coordinates IFB's involvement regarding issues within assigned area of responsibility.How does this role make an impact?
- Plans, develops and executes educational programs for the organization. - Creates communications and promotional materials to encourage and maximize participation in programs and issues. - Coordinates all logistical preparations for events and programs, such as securing locations, making site preparations, recruiting speakers, hosting onsite and managing all event/program details. - Performs basic research, prepares reports, and provides information, as requested. - Exercises professional leadership by keeping abreast of current trends, developments, and opportunities within field of responsibility.Do you have what we're looking for?
Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training. - Normal office environment. - Work may extend beyond normal business hours as business needs dictate, including frequent long workdays. - Regular/frequent travel, including some overnights and air travel, required. Must have the ability to attend relevant meetings and fulfill job responsibilities throughout Illinois.Base Pay Range:
$62,000-$85,250The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive Pay:
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
