Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and coordinate policies and programs to manage plant engineering functions, departmental budgeting and reporting, and installing or modifying facilities, grounds, and equipment.
- Supervise all equipment, facilities, and maintenance activities.
- Manage the facilities and work order system.
- Support safety programs to ensure safety is promoted throughout the facility.
- Create and maintain written reports on project status, tests, costs, issues, and performance to established targets and timelines on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with appropriate functional managers and cross-functional teams to ensure needs are understood and incorporated into the project and program process.
- Understand customer critical success factors and develop corrective actions to meet customer needs.
- Lead productivity and process improvements for focus area operation.
- Establish effective product introduction timetables, capabilities, and capacities that meet company sales plans.
- Manage metrics and drive root cause analysis to achieve objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical field required
- Years of Experience: 5 or more years of experience required,
- Project Management and Quality Systems experience preferred
- Related Experience: Management experience in a manufacturing environment, proven leadership, supervisory, and problem-solving skills preferred
- Blackbelt or Greenbelt certification preferred
