Field Marketing Associate Jobs in North Dakota: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a field marketing associate in North Dakota?
Most employers in North Dakota hire field marketing associates with a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, though some accept relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. North Dakota does not require a state-issued license for this role. Candidates strengthen their applications by building experience in event coordination, retail promotion, or territory sales, and by demonstrating familiarity with the agricultural, energy, and healthcare sectors that dominate North Dakota's economy.
Which companies hire field marketing associates in North Dakota?
North Dakota field marketing associate roles are posted by CVS Health, Anne Carlsen, and Shocker Hitch and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. North Dakota's agriculture, energy, and regional healthcare industries generate the most consistent demand for field marketing talent across the state.
Which North Dakota cities have the most field marketing associate jobs?
Fargo, North Dakota, and Mandan lead North Dakota for field marketing associate openings. Fargo drives the largest share of listings as the state's commercial hub, home to technology operations, healthcare systems, and regional retail headquarters, while Bismarck and Grand Forks generate openings through state government contractors, energy firms, and university-affiliated organizations anchored in those communities.
Are there remote field marketing associate jobs in North Dakota?
Yes, but they're rare. Field marketing is a hands-on, territory-based role, so most positions require regular in-person presence at events, retail locations, or client sites. About 33% of field marketing associate openings tied to North Dakota are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those tend to focus on campaign planning, reporting, and coordination tasks rather than on-the-ground activation work.
How can I get hired as a field marketing associate in North Dakota with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying for brand ambassador, marketing coordinator, or sales support roles at North Dakota employers in agriculture, healthcare, or energy, then moving into a field marketing associate position as you build territory experience. Sanford Health and regional agribusiness firms regularly bring on entry-level marketing staff in support roles. A portfolio of campus event coordination, retail promotion work, or volunteer campaign experience signals readiness even without a full work history in the role.
Where can I find and apply to field marketing associate jobs in North Dakota?
You can find and apply to field marketing associate jobs in North Dakota on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your experience and preferred location, and apply directly to the positions that fit.
