Sales Analyst Jobs in North Dakota: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales analyst in North Dakota?
A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or marketing is the standard starting point for sales analyst roles in North Dakota. The role carries no state-issued license or registration requirement. Most North Dakota employers in agriculture, energy, and financial services look for candidates who combine a relevant degree with hands-on experience in data analysis or sales support, often gained through internships with regional companies or university cooperative programs at North Dakota State University or the University of North Dakota.
Which companies hire sales analysts in North Dakota?
Employers hiring sales analysts in North Dakota right now include CVS Health, Marvin, and Knife River, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. North Dakota's concentrated base of agricultural cooperatives, energy utilities, and regional financial institutions means many of the most active hiring organizations are industry anchors with long-standing presences in the state rather than rotating national brands.
Which North Dakota cities have the most sales analyst jobs?
The cities with the most sales analyst openings in North Dakota are Fargo, Bismarck, and North Dakota. Fargo's concentration of financial services firms, healthcare systems, and technology companies drives the highest volume, while Bismarck's role as the state capital brings in demand from energy utilities and government-adjacent commercial operations, and Grand Forks benefits from the University of North Dakota's research and commercial partnerships.
Are there remote sales analyst jobs in North Dakota?
Yes, and more than most fields. Sales analyst work is desk-based and data-driven, making it well suited to remote arrangements. About 58% of sales analyst openings tied to North Dakota are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how broadly the role has shifted toward distributed teams. The tasks most frequently done remotely include pipeline reporting, CRM maintenance, and forecast modeling, while client-facing or field-support roles tend to remain on-site.
How can I get hired as a sales analyst in North Dakota with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a sales operations coordinator or junior business analyst role at one of North Dakota's larger employers in agriculture, energy, or financial services. Organizations like Basin Electric Power Cooperative and regional credit unions regularly bring in recent graduates for analyst-adjacent positions. A degree from North Dakota State University or the University of North Dakota carries weight with in-state employers, and proficiency in Excel or a CRM platform gives candidates a meaningful edge when competing against others at the same experience level.
Where can I find and apply to sales analyst jobs in North Dakota?
You can find and apply to sales analyst jobs in North Dakota on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the listings to find roles that match your background, then apply directly to the ones that fit your experience and target location.
