Field Marketing Representative Jobs in Minnesota: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a field marketing representative in Minnesota?
Most field marketing representative roles in Minnesota require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications, though some employers accept an associate degree paired with relevant experience. Minnesota does not require a state-issued license for this role. The typical path is to build hands-on experience through brand ambassador work, retail merchandising, or outside sales, then apply to territory representative positions at consumer goods, healthcare, or technology companies headquartered or operating in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul region.
Which companies hire field marketing representatives in Minnesota?
Employers hiring field marketing representatives in Minnesota right now include Mosaic North America, Legacy Homes, and Lenz Construction, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Minnesota's strong base of consumer goods headquarters and medical device firms makes it one of the more active field marketing markets in the upper Midwest.
Which Minnesota cities have the most field marketing representative jobs?
Eden Prairie, Fridley, and Shakopee have the most field marketing representative openings in Minnesota. Minneapolis drives the largest share of demand due to its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and national retail chains, while Saint Paul and its suburbs add volume through healthcare networks and regional distribution operations, and Rochester's openings are anchored by the healthcare and medical technology sector centered around the Mayo Clinic corridor.
Are there remote field marketing representative jobs in Minnesota?
Yes, but they're rare. Field marketing is an inherently on-site role involving in-store visits, event staffing, and face-to-face retailer or client engagement, so most positions require regular territory travel. About 0% of field marketing representative openings tied to Minnesota are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those listings typically cover the planning, reporting, and digital campaign coordination aspects of the role rather than the core field work.
How can I get hired as a field marketing representative in Minnesota with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a brand ambassador or retail merchandising role, which many Minnesota-based consumer goods and healthcare companies use as a direct pipeline into full field marketing positions. General Mills, Target, and medical device firms in the Twin Cities regularly hire for part-time or contract ambassador roles that require no prior marketing experience. Building a portfolio of event execution, product demo, or territory coverage work, even on a contract basis, is the credential that opens the door to full-time representative roles in Minnesota.
Where can I find and apply to field marketing representative jobs in Minnesota?
You can find and apply to field marketing representative jobs in Minnesota on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to Minnesota employers and territories. Search the listings to see what is available right now, find roles that match your experience and preferred location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
