Job Summary

Fitness Machine Technicians is hiring a Field Service Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance for both residential and commercial customers. If you’re a proactive, mechanically inclined problem-solver who values customer service and quality work, you’ll love this role.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on fitness equipment in homes and commercial facilities
• Identify and report needed replacement parts
• Assemble, disassemble, and install equipment at commercial sites
• Complete accurate work order reports using our field service software
• Deliver a great customer experience and explain repairs clearly
• Maintain a clean, well-organized company vehicle
• Local daily travel
• Safely lift and move equipment as needed

Qualifications

• 1+ year of mechanical or electrical aptitude and experience with hand tools
• Prior fitness equipment repair experience is a plus (not required—our training will prepare you)
• Professional, positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for scheduling and reporting
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently
• Ability to pass a background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.98 - $28.67 per hour
