Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination, and supervision of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Manage and direct on-site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and high safety standards
- Review construction drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, and contracts to interpret project requirements accurately
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling software
- Oversee daily safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance; address issues promptly
- Coordinate with project managers on budgeting, procurement, change orders, and contract administration using Procore system
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders through managerial communication skills; lead meetings to track progress and resolve issues
Skills
- Extensive experience in commercial construction management with a proven track record of managing complex projects from start to finish
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other industry-standard tools
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction schedules for accurate project execution
- Excellent crew management abilities with experience supervising teams on active construction sites
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality control
