Requirements:About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, guest-focused Assistant Manager who leads from the front. This role is responsible for maintaining an active presence on the floor, ensuring operational excellence, and creating a culture where both guests and team members thrive.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, natural coach, and decisive leader who can balance hospitality with accountability in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead by example with consistent floor presence and hands-on support
- Oversee daily service execution to ensure exceptional guest experience
- Cross-train across all restaurant roles and step in as needed to support operations
- Coach and develop team members in real time, ensuring thorough and efficient documentation processes
- Reinforce service, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Monitor workflow, staffing deployment, and pace during peak hours
- Promote specials, drive upselling, and maintain strong product knowledge
- Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Handling and owning inventory including, following order guides, counting and maintaining stock as needed.
- Proactive in identifying and troubleshooting Facility issues
- Cash handling; accuracy in making all transactions; maintain register supplies. Assist customers with their purchases in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- At least 3 years of hospitality experience
- A genuine passion for hospitality and team development
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stay composed and solution-oriented under pressure
- High standards for cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence
- Reliability, accountability, and a collaborative mindset
- Experience with POS Sales - Toast preferred
