Financial Manager Jobs in Los Angeles: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a financial manager job in Los Angeles?
Target the sectors that drive Los Angeles hiring: entertainment and media companies in Burbank and Hollywood, real estate investment firms in Century City and Beverly Hills, and defense contractors in El Segundo and Torrance. Candidates with experience closing monthly books for a studio, managing fund-level reporting for a REIT, or overseeing cost accounting for a manufacturer stand out. CPA or CFA credentials sharpen your edge in a competitive market.
Which companies hire financial managers in Los Angeles?
Los Angeles financial manager roles are posted by Deloitte, Bank of America, and Fox Corporation and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. The market draws from a broad mix of entertainment studios, private equity-backed firms, healthcare systems, and large municipal employers that together keep demand steady year-round.
Are there remote financial manager jobs in Los Angeles?
Yes, though availability depends on the role: analytical and reporting-focused positions tend to go hybrid more readily than those requiring hands-on cash management or audit oversight. About 21% of financial manager openings tied to Los Angeles are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with the strongest remote options found in tech-adjacent and private equity back-office roles.
How can I get a financial manager job in Los Angeles with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Los Angeles is moving up from a senior financial analyst or accounting manager role inside an entertainment studio, healthcare system, or mid-size real estate firm, all of which promote from within regularly. Large employers in Culver City and Glendale also run structured finance rotational programs that feed directly into manager-track roles. A CPA license and experience presenting to department heads accelerates that transition locally.
Which industries hire the most financial managers in Los Angeles?
Los Angeles financial manager roles concentrate in Banking & Financial Services, Investment & Asset Management, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. The city's deep entertainment economy, active commercial real estate market, and expanding healthcare infrastructure create sustained demand across all three sectors regardless of broader hiring cycles.
