Minimum Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Human Services, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of administrative, front desk, or customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare, behavioral health, or social services setting.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations, including individuals with substance use or mental health disorders, strongly preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Professional communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact respectfully and effectively with clients, families, staff, and external partners.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accuracy, and prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Proficiency in office technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, electronic health record (EHR) systems, multi-line phone systems, and basic troubleshooting.
• Customer service excellence, including de-escalation skills, empathy, and maintaining a calm demeanor during high-volume or crisis situations.
• Attention to detail for accurate scheduling, documentation, data entry, and compliance with program protocols.

Regulatory & Compliance Requirements

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality regulations.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Must pass state and federal background checks
• Must complete required pre-employment drug screening.

• Familiarity with EHR systems such as KIPU
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) or multilingual abilities.
• Prior training in customer service in healthcare settings.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
