Planning and maintaining production processes within the production department

Ensuring food quality and food safety within the production department; including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Ensuring associate safety within the production department by complying with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations

Developing, training, and mentoring production department associates: which includes;

Participating in the interview and selection process

Executing, administering and training associates on Publix, Manufacturing and plant policies

Providing direction, encouraging, motivating and building morale
-
Evaluating performance and verifying results
-
Identifying and ensuring execution of continuous improvement opportunities to improve associate productivity and asset productivity
