Green Card ERP Specialist Jobs
ERP Specialist roles qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through PERM labor certification, which requires your employer to document that no qualified U.S. worker is available for the position. SAP, Oracle, and similar platform expertise supports the specialty occupation standard that underpins most petitions. Start your search with sponsorship as a filter, not an afterthought.

Document your ERP certifications before applying
PERM requires proving your qualifications match the job description exactly. Gather SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics certifications before outreach. Gaps between your credentials and the posted requirements can trigger a USCIS Request for Evidence at the I-140 stage.
Target employers with active PERM filing history
Search DOL PERM disclosure data for companies that have previously filed labor certifications for ERP roles. Employers who have done it before have established workflows and are far less likely to back out mid-process due to unfamiliarity.
Search EB-3-sponsored ERP roles using Migrate Mate
Filter specifically for employers with green card sponsorship history rather than browsing general listings. Migrate Mate surfaces ERP Specialist openings tied to employers with documented PERM and I-140 filing activity, saving you outreach to companies that won't sponsor.
Verify the prevailing wage before your offer
Your employer must pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your ERP role and location. Look up the rate using the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating, so you can confirm your offer clears the threshold PERM requires without renegotiating after filing begins.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Ask explicitly whether the employer covers PERM advertising costs, attorney fees, and I-140 filing. Some employers sponsor the green card but cap their financial commitment. Knowing this before you accept prevents disputes once the process is underway.
Use O*NET to align your job description to EB-2 criteria
The O*NET occupation profile for ERP and systems analyst roles lists the education and skill requirements DOL uses to evaluate PERM applications. Cross-reference your resume and the posted job description against it to ensure your petition reflects language USCIS recognizes as specialty occupation.
Green Card ERP Specialist: Frequently Asked Questions
Does an ERP Specialist role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
Most ERP Specialist positions qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers requiring a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field. Roles demanding an advanced degree or a combination of platform expertise and specialized business process knowledge can qualify under EB-2. Your employer's attorney will determine the category based on the actual job requirements and your credentials.
How is green card sponsorship different from H-1B sponsorship for ERP roles?
H-1B visa sponsorship is temporary and subject to an annual lottery, which can stall your authorization unpredictably. Green card sponsorship through PERM leads to permanent residency with no annual cap concerns at the EB-3 level for most nationalities. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification alone can take six to twelve months before the I-140 is even filed, and priority date backlogs apply for certain countries.
What does the PERM process look like for an ERP Specialist position?
Your employer files a labor certification with DOL, demonstrating through a recruitment campaign that no qualified U.S. worker applied for the role. The job description must match your actual duties and credentials precisely. Once DOL certifies the application, your employer files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. You can apply for adjustment of status once your priority date becomes current on the Visa Bulletin.
How do I find ERP Specialist jobs that specifically offer green card sponsorship?
Standard job boards don't filter for PERM or I-140 filing history, so most listings don't surface sponsorship willingness clearly. Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can find ERP Specialist openings tied to employers with documented green card sponsorship activity, so you're targeting companies that have already committed to the process rather than hoping to convince a recruiter.
Can I switch ERP jobs while my green card application is in progress?
Changing employers generally restarts the PERM process unless your I-140 has been approved for at least 180 days and the new role is in the same or a similar occupational classification. ERP Specialist roles across different industries often meet this portability standard under AC21, but your new employer must be willing to continue sponsoring the petition. Get legal advice before accepting any offer during an active filing.
