Food and Beverage Manager Green Card Jobs
Food and Beverage Manager roles qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through PERM labor certification, which requires employers to document that no qualified U.S. worker was available before filing your I-140 petition. Hospitality groups, hotel chains, and food service companies sponsor foreign professionals in this role, making it a viable path to permanent residency.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Food and Beverage Manager
Target employers with PERM filing history
Hospitality groups that have sponsored foreign workers before already have counsel and internal HR processes in place. Ask recruiters directly whether their company has completed PERM certifications for Food and Beverage Manager roles previously.
Search green card sponsoring jobs on Migrate Mate
Filter by Food and Beverage Manager roles where employers have active EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces DOL disclosure data so you can see which hospitality companies have actually filed PERM applications for this role.
Verify the prevailing wage before negotiating
Your employer's PERM application must certify they will pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your specific location and role level. Look up the applicable rate using the OFLC Wage Search before your offer discussion so the salary is PERM-compliant from the start.
Clarify the job duties match O*NET standards
PERM labor audits scrutinize whether the advertised job description aligns with the O*NET occupation profile for Food and Beverage Managers. Duties tied to a specific employer's proprietary systems can trigger DOL requests for clarification, so confirm the description is occupation-standard before signing off.
Understand the PERM recruitment obligations your employer carries
Before filing PERM, your employer must run mandatory recruitment steps including print ads, job postings, and internal notices. These steps take 30 to 60 days minimum, so factor this into your overall timeline when evaluating an offer that includes green card sponsorship.

Find Food and Beverage Manager JobsFood and Beverage Manager Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Food and Beverage Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most Food and Beverage Manager positions qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers requiring at least two years of training and experience. Candidates with a master's degree in hospitality management or a related field may qualify under EB-2. The specific category depends on the employer's job requirements and how they draft the PERM labor certification.
How does the green card process differ from an H-1B for this role?
An H-1B is a temporary work visa subject to an annual lottery, while EB-2 and EB-3 green cards lead to permanent residency with no lottery. PERM-based green cards take longer overall, often two to four years from start to finish, but there is no annual cap concern for EB-3 applicants from most countries. The outcome is also permanent rather than renewable authorization.
What does the PERM labor certification process require for this role?
Your employer must advertise the Food and Beverage Manager position through specific DOL-mandated recruitment channels, document that no qualified U.S. worker applied, and then submit the PERM application to the DOL for certification. Only after PERM is certified can your employer file the I-140 immigrant petition on your behalf with USCIS.
How can I find Food and Beverage Manager jobs that include green card sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search Food and Beverage Manager roles filtered by employers with documented EB-2 or EB-3 PERM filing history. This removes guesswork about which hospitality employers actually sponsor green cards versus those who simply say they are open to it, saving significant time in your job search.
Can my employer start the green card process while I'm on a different visa status?
Yes. Employers can begin PERM labor certification for you regardless of whether you currently hold H-1B, L-1, or another nonimmigrant status. The PERM and I-140 filing steps happen employer-side. Adjustment of status or consular processing for the final green card step does require you to have a qualifying immigration status at that point.
