Reservation Agent Green Card Jobs
Reservation Agent roles at hotels, airlines, and travel companies can qualify for EB-3 green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process. Employers file with DOL to certify no qualified U.S. workers are available, then sponsor your I-140 petition for permanent residency. EB-2 sponsorship may apply for supervisory or specialized coordination roles requiring an advanced degree.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship in Reservation Agent
Document your hospitality credentials before applying
Gather transcripts, professional certifications like CRS or IATA training records, and reference letters confirming your reservation systems experience. PERM requires your employer to verify your qualifications meet the job's minimum requirements at the time of filing.
Target hotel groups with high turnover vacancy histories
Hospitality chains frequently struggle to fill reservation roles in certain markets, which strengthens a PERM application. Focus on properties in regions where DOL recruitment logs regularly show limited qualified U.S. applicant responses for front-office and reservations positions.
Search green card sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Reservation Agent jobs by employers with active EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship history. Targeting companies that have completed PERM filings before saves months of negotiating sponsorship from scratch with unfamiliar HR teams.
Negotiate sponsorship terms before accepting an offer
Confirm in writing whether the employer covers PERM attorney fees and I-140 filing costs, or passes them to you. Some hospitality employers sponsor only after a probationary period, which delays your priority date and overall green card timeline.
Verify the posted job duties match your PERM job description
USCIS scrutinizes whether your actual daily tasks align with the certified PERM job description. If your role expands after filing, a significant duties mismatch can jeopardize your I-485 adjustment of status. Get a written job description before PERM is filed.
Use the OFLC Wage Search to benchmark your offered wage
PERM requires your employer to pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your occupation and location. Cross-check your offer against the OFLC Wage Search before signing, since a wage below the Level I or II threshold will cause PERM denial regardless of employer intent.

Find Reservation Agent JobsReservation Agent Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Can a Reservation Agent role qualify for EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Yes. Reservation Agent positions typically qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers or professionals, provided the employer completes the PERM labor certification process showing no qualified U.S. workers are available. The role must have a legitimate minimum requirement, such as a degree or defined experience, documented consistently in the job posting and PERM application.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 leads to permanent residency rather than a temporary work authorization period. Unlike H-1B, EB-3 sponsorship has no annual lottery, though nationals from high-demand countries may face priority date backlogs. The total timeline from PERM filing to an approved green card typically runs two to four years for most nationalities at the EB-3 level.
What does the PERM labor certification process require from my employer?
Your employer must conduct a DOL-prescribed recruitment campaign, including job postings and documentation that no minimally qualified U.S. workers applied. They then file the PERM application with DOL. Analyst review at DOL currently averages over a year, so your employer needs to plan well ahead of any intended start date or status expiration.
How do I find Reservation Agent jobs where employers are already open to green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by employers with verified EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship history, so you can identify hospitality and travel companies that have sponsored Reservation Agent roles before. Targeting these employers avoids the uncertainty of cold-pitching sponsorship to HR teams with no prior PERM experience, which rarely succeeds in this occupation.
Does my job title change during employment affect my green card application?
A promotion or title change after your I-140 is approved is generally manageable under AC21 portability rules if the new role is in the same or a similar occupational classification. You must ensure the new position's duties remain substantially similar to those described in your certified PERM application, particularly before your I-485 is adjudicated by USCIS.
