Sales Green Card Jobs
Sales roles in account management, business development, and enterprise sales qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Employers file PERM labor certification with DOL before sponsoring your permanent residency, making sponsorship a longer but permanent path compared to temporary work visas.

Frame your sales credentials for PERM
PERM requires your degree to match the advertised role. A business administration or marketing degree supports most sales positions, but if yours is unrelated, document how your coursework maps to sales functions before applications begin.
Target employers with EB-3 filing history
Many sales roles qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers. Search OFLC Wage Search to identify employers who have previously certified PERM applications for sales titles like Account Executive or Business Development Manager.
Search green card sponsoring sales jobs on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters sales positions by employers with active green card sponsorship history, so you spend time only on roles where permanent residency support is already confirmed rather than asking hiring managers cold.
Clarify the sponsorship timeline before accepting offers
PERM certification, I-140 approval, and adjustment of status together take two to four years for most nationalities. Negotiate an explicit sponsorship commitment in your offer letter so timeline expectations are set before your first day.
Verify the role meets DOL prevailing wage requirements
PERM requires your employer to pay at least the prevailing wage for your sales title in your metro area. Check the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating compensation to confirm your offer clears the DOL threshold.

Find Sales JobsSales Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Do sales roles qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most sales positions qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers when they require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Senior or specialized roles, such as enterprise sales engineers or sales directors requiring an advanced degree, may qualify under EB-2. Your employer determines the appropriate category based on the position's actual educational requirements, not your personal credentials.
How does PERM green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for sales roles?
H-1B is a temporary nonimmigrant status capped at 85,000 new visas annually with a lottery. PERM-based green card sponsorship has no annual cap at the EB-3 level for most nationalities and leads to permanent residency rather than a renewable temporary status. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification and I-140 adjudication typically add one to three years before you can file for adjustment of status.
What does the PERM labor certification process involve for a sales position?
Your employer must conduct a DOL-supervised recruitment campaign proving no qualified U.S. workers are available for the specific sales role. This includes job postings, newspaper advertisements, and internal notices over a defined period. If recruitment yields no qualified U.S. applicants, DOL certifies the PERM application, allowing your employer to file the I-140 immigrant petition on your behalf.
How can I find sales employers who sponsor green cards?
Migrate Mate lets you search sales roles specifically filtered by employers with documented green card sponsorship history, so you can identify companies that have completed PERM filings for sales titles before applying. This saves you from discovering late in a hiring process that an employer has never sponsored permanent residency and isn't prepared to start.
Can I change sales employers while my green card application is pending?
You can change employers after your I-140 has been approved for 180 days and your adjustment of status application has been pending for at least 180 days, under AC21 portability rules. The new role must be in the same or a similar occupational classification as the original sponsored position, which for sales roles is typically a straightforward determination. USCIS reviews portability on a case-by-case basis.
