Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship in Warehouse
Document your warehouse credentials before applying
Gather certifications like forklift operator licenses, OSHA safety cards, and any supervisory training records. PERM audits require you to prove your qualifications match the job description, so gaps in documentation can stall the process.
Target employers with E-Verify enrollment history
Warehouse employers already enrolled in E-Verify have established compliance infrastructure, which correlates with willingness to navigate PERM sponsorship. Prioritize distribution centers, third-party logistics firms, and large fulfillment operations over smaller independents.
Search green card sponsoring warehouse jobs on Migrate Mate
Filter by EB-3 sponsorship history to surface employers who have completed PERM filings for warehouse roles before. Migrate Mate surfaces this employer data so you can focus your applications where sponsorship is already proven.
Verify your role qualifies under EB-3 skilled worker requirements
EB-3 skilled worker covers positions requiring at least two years of training or experience. Check the O*NET occupation profile for your specific warehouse role to confirm the DOL job zone and training requirements that support your petition.
Negotiate sponsorship before signing any offer letter
Warehouse employers often assume sponsorship conversations happen post-hire, but PERM must be filed with a future employment intention. Confirm the employer will initiate the prevailing wage determination with DOL before you accept the offer.
Understand that PERM recruitment timing affects your start date
DOL requires employers to complete a supervised recruitment period, typically 30 to 60 days, before filing PERM. Factor this into your timeline so you're not caught between your current visa status expiring and the filing window opening.

Find Warehouse JobsWarehouse Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Can warehouse jobs qualify for EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Yes. Warehouse roles that require at least two years of training or experience, such as warehouse supervisor, inventory control specialist, or logistics coordinator, qualify under the EB-3 skilled worker category. The employer must file a PERM labor certification with DOL, obtain an approved I-140, and sponsor you through adjustment of status or consular processing to lawful permanent residency.
How does PERM green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for warehouse roles?
H-1B requires a specialty occupation with a bachelor's degree requirement, which most warehouse roles don't meet. EB-3 PERM sponsorship has no annual lottery and leads to permanent residency rather than a temporary status. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM processing with USCIS typically takes one to three years before you hold a green card, compared to H-1B status in months.
What is the PERM labor certification process for a warehouse employer?
The employer starts by requesting a prevailing wage determination from DOL using the OFLC Wage Search to establish the minimum salary for your role and location. They then run a supervised recruitment period to document that no qualified U.S. workers were available. DOL reviews the application and, if approved, the employer files an I-140 petition with USCIS on your behalf.
Where can I find warehouse employers who have sponsored green cards before?
Migrate Mate lets you filter warehouse job listings by employers with confirmed EB-3 sponsorship history. Searching by prior PERM filings is the fastest way to identify distribution centers, fulfillment operations, and logistics companies that have already completed the process, rather than asking employers to navigate it for the first time on your behalf.
Does my country of birth affect my EB-3 green card timeline for a warehouse role?
Yes. EB-3 green card backlogs are tied to your country of birth, not citizenship. Nationals born in India and China face multi-year waits due to per-country annual limits. Nationals from most other countries, including the Philippines, Mexico, and El Salvador, currently have shorter or no backlogs at the EB-3 level. Check the USCIS Visa Bulletin monthly to track your priority date movement.
