We’re looking for full-stack Product Engineer who will architect and build core aspects of the Inventive’s platform, shape our technical direction from day one, and own the end-to-end experience across the product. This role will be in person in our HQ in Mountain View, CA and comes with a competitive salary, benefits and meaningful equity. We are NOT looking for someone who only wants Jira tickets, polished specs, or a big engineering team to lean on. This role is a high leverage role in the following ways:
- Strategic Impact – you will work directly with the founders to influence technical and product direction, deciding how we scale our platform and what bets we make.
- End-to-End Ownership – Take ideas from rough concepts to production-ready systems – UI/UX, frontend components, and everything critical for to ensure our product is fast, reliable, and a joy to use.
- Customer-Driven Development – Talk to customers, understand their needs, and turn feedback into technical solutions that directly impact their growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop product features across our platform, from technical design to implementation.
- Build solutions end-to-end spanning the frontend (Typescript, React, Next.js) and backend (Python/Django/APIs), service and database layers.
- Be able to build reliable user interfaces, reusable components, manage app state and optimize API calls.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build a robust, world class product that delights users.
- Write high-quality, well-documented, and testable code while moving fast to deliver outcomes.
- Maintain and optimize our codebase for performance and user experience.
Required Skills
- Strong experience (5-8 years) in a full stack engineering role.
- Strong frontend development skills (Typescript, React, Tailwind CSS)
- Obsess over building the product with best UX and quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrate ownership and thrive in unstructured environments.
- Ability to move quickly and meet tight deadlines.
Strong Plus
- Hands-on experience with Language Models and AI/ML integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.)
- Experience with Redis for caching and session management.
