H-1B Visa Growth Jobs
Growth roles in user acquisition, revenue operations, and product-led expansion are among the more straightforward H-1B specialty occupation filings when your degree aligns to the position. Employers with active LCA filing history in marketing analytics, growth engineering, or demand generation are your clearest path to sponsorship.

What Artisan Is
We're building AI employees. Not chatbots. Not copilots. Autonomous digital workers that do real jobs.
Our first, Ava, is an AI BDR used by hundreds of companies. She researches leads, writes and sends emails in a customer's voice, runs multi-step outbound sequences, manages her own deliverability infrastructure, self-optimizes over time, and handles objections and meeting booking. She's not a tool someone uses. She's a teammate.
We're a YC W24 company, have raised $35M+ from investors including Y Combinator, and are at $8M+ ARR. Right now we're building Ava 2.0, a step change in what an AI employee can do. The engineering problems are hard and the surface area is enormous.
The Role
You’ll be a core part of the growth team at Artisan. This is a foundational growth hire.
We’re known for our marketing, and this role exists to double down on it. You’ll own how Artisan grows — from first touch to expansion — and work directly with the CEO and growth team to design and execute a strategy that takes Artisan from $7M → $25M+ ARR in the next 12 months.
Growth at Artisan spans acquisition, conversion, product-led loops, and brand. You’ll own all of it.
What that looks like concretely:
-
Growth strategy across channels.
Own the full growth strategy across paid, organic, brand, and product-led motions.
-
Acquisition at scale.
Scale inbound demand through performance marketing, SEO, lifecycle marketing, virality loops, and bold stunts (e.g. our “Stop Hiring Humans” billboards).
-
Conversion optimization.
Build and optimize funnels across web, product, and sales hand-off. Instrument every step and improve it with data.
-
Product-led growth.
Design onboarding flows, paywall moments, and in-product upsell and expansion paths to drive PLG adoption.
-
Brand & community.
Turn Artisan into a cult brand. Architect viral campaigns, UGC loops, and social dominance across LinkedIn, X, and beyond.
-
Analytics & experimentation.
Build the growth model, own the dashboards, and run continuous experiments across every channel.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or a similar role
- A creative, out-of-the-box thinker who enjoys testing unconventional ideas
- High grit and hunger — willing to work hard and take ownership
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from zero
- Strong communicator who can work directly with leadership
Why This Role
- You’re not joining a growth team — you’re helping shape it. This role has direct ownership over how Artisan scales.
- You’ll work directly with the CEO on one of the most important problems in the company: growth.
- The scope is real and the stakes are high. What you build will directly affect revenue, brand, and product adoption.
- You’ll ship meaningful work every week in a fast-moving environment.
- Competitive compensation, flexibility, and autonomy in a company with real traction and real ambition.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding H-1B Visa Sponsorship in Growth
Match your degree to the SOC code
Growth roles often get filed under Marketing Managers or Market Research Analysts SOC codes. Pull the O*NET profile for both and confirm your degree field maps directly to the listed education requirements before applications go in.
Target employers with LCA filing history
Use Migrate Mate to filter for companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications for growth-specific roles. Prior filings signal an established sponsorship process, which reduces the risk of an employer backing out mid-offer.
Verify prevailing wage before negotiating
Run the OFLC Wage Search for your target SOC code and metro area before salary discussions. Your offer must meet the DOL prevailing wage for the LCA to certify, so knowing Level II versus Level III thresholds strengthens your negotiating position.
Flag E-Verify enrollment during screening
Ask whether the employer is enrolled in E-Verify during early interviews. Unenrolled companies face longer onboarding delays and some are structurally unable to file within your cap-gap or grace-period window.
Document cross-functional growth work precisely
USCIS scrutinizes growth titles because they can look generalist. Your resume and support letter should name the specific technical tools, data platforms, and experimental frameworks you use, not just outcomes, to establish specialty occupation clearly.
Sequence the cap registration around your OPT end date
If you're on OPT, the April 1 cap-subject petition start date means your employer must commit to filing months before your current authorization expires. Map your OPT expiration against the lottery timeline and alert hiring managers early so the H-1B registration isn't a last-minute surprise.

Find Growth JobsGrowth H-1B Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Do Growth roles qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B purposes?
Growth roles qualify when the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as marketing, statistics, computer science, or economics. Titles like Growth Marketing Manager or Growth Analyst filed under market research or marketing management SOC codes have strong approval precedent. Generic titles with no defined degree requirement are the ones that draw USCIS Requests for Evidence.
Which employers actually sponsor H-1B visas for Growth positions?
Tech companies, SaaS businesses, and venture-backed startups with dedicated growth functions are the most active sponsors for these roles. You can browse verified H-1B-sponsoring employers hiring for Growth positions on Migrate Mate, which surfaces companies based on their actual LCA filing history rather than self-reported sponsorship policies.
How does the H-1B lottery affect my timeline for a Growth job offer?
Cap-subject H-1B petitions can only be filed from April 1 each year, with employment beginning October 1. That means a Growth offer accepted in, say, July requires your employer to wait until the following April registration window. If you're on OPT with STEM extension, you may have enough runway to bridge that gap without a status lapse.
Can a startup sponsor my H-1B for a Growth role?
Yes, but startups require additional scrutiny during the petition. USCIS will review whether the company has the financial capacity to pay the prevailing wage for the full petition period. Strong indicators include a signed term sheet, Series A or later funding documentation, or audited financials. Pre-revenue startups with thin runways carry higher denial risk for any H-1B filing, not just Growth roles.
What happens to my H-1B if my Growth role shifts to a different team or function?
A material change in job duties, location, or compensation requires an amended H-1B petition. If your growth role evolves from analytics-focused to engineering-focused, or if you relocate to a new metro area not covered by the original LCA, your employer must file an amendment before the change takes effect. Operating outside the petition's stated parameters puts your status at risk.
