H-1B Visa Partner Executive Jobs
Partner Executive roles qualify for H-1B visa sponsorship when they require a bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, or a related specialty field. Employers filing H-1B petitions for these roles must certify a prevailing wage through DOL, making companies with established partnership functions and active LCA filing history your strongest targets.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding H-1B Visa Sponsorship in Partner Executive
Confirm your role meets specialty occupation
Partner Executive positions must require a specific bachelor's degree to qualify under H-1B rules. Check the O*NET profile for this title to document the degree requirement before your employer files, since USCIS scrutinizes business-development roles for specialty occupation eligibility.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search Migrate Mate to identify companies that have already filed Labor Condition Applications for Partner Executive or related business-development titles. Employers with recent LCA history have cleared DOL's prevailing-wage process before and are far more likely to move quickly on sponsorship.
Verify the offered wage meets DOL prevailing levels
Before signing an offer, run the job title and work location through the OFLC Wage Search to confirm the salary meets at least the Level I prevailing wage for your SOC code. Underpayment is a common LCA certification failure that delays or kills the H-1B filing.
Use your 60-day grace period strategically
If you're between Partner Executive roles, USCIS allows a 60-day grace period after your employment ends. Your new employer must file a cap-exempt transfer or a new H-1B petition before that window closes, so start the offer process early rather than waiting until your last week.
Get your employment documentation audit-ready
Assemble degree transcripts, prior employment verification letters, and a detailed job description that ties your Partner Executive duties to your degree field. USCIS frequently issues Requests for Evidence on business titles, and having this documentation ready can cut response time from weeks to days.
Negotiate premium processing into your offer terms
USCIS premium processing upgrades adjudication to 15 business days. For Partner Executive hires with revenue targets and client-launch deadlines, ask your employer to include premium processing in the offer letter rather than treating it as an optional add-on requested after signing.
H-1B Visa Partner Executive: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Partner Executive role qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B purposes?
It depends on how the job description is written. USCIS requires that the position normally demands a bachelor's degree in a specific field, such as business, marketing, or a related discipline, not just any degree. Partner Executive roles with vague educational requirements or generalist duties are more likely to receive a Request for Evidence, so the job description needs to tie specific duties directly to a degree field.
How do I find employers who have sponsored H-1B visas for Partner Executive roles before?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by verified DOL Labor Condition Application filing history, so you can identify companies that have already gone through the H-1B process for business-development and partner-facing roles. That prior filing experience matters because employers who have sponsored before understand the timeline, the prevailing-wage requirement, and what documentation USCIS expects.
What is the prevailing wage requirement for a Partner Executive H-1B petition?
DOL requires your employer to certify on the LCA that your wage meets or exceeds the prevailing wage for your specific SOC code and work location. The prevailing wage is determined by the OFLC Wage Search tool using the job's occupational classification and geographic area. Filing below the prevailing wage causes LCA denial, which blocks the entire H-1B petition from proceeding.
Can I change employers and keep my H-1B status as a Partner Executive?
Yes, H-1B portability under AC21 lets you transfer to a new employer once your current H-1B petition has been approved and you've maintained lawful status. Your new employer must file an H-1B transfer petition before your current authorized period ends. You can start the new Partner Executive role as soon as the transfer petition is filed and accepted by USCIS, without waiting for final approval.
Does working as a Partner Executive affect my path to an employer-sponsored green card?
Partner Executive roles can support an employment-based green card petition, typically under EB-2 or EB-3 depending on the degree requirement, but most employer-sponsored paths require PERM labor certification first. PERM requires the employer to conduct a supervised recruitment process and demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers were available. Executives with sufficiently senior responsibilities may qualify for an EB-1C multinational manager or executive category, which bypasses PERM entirely.
