H-1B Visa Warehouse Jobs
Warehouse roles can qualify for H-1B sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specialized field such as supply chain management, industrial engineering, or logistics. Employers filing an H-1B for warehouse operations must certify a prevailing wage through the DOL and demonstrate the role meets the specialty occupation standard.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding H-1B Visa Sponsorship in Warehouse
Verify your role meets specialty occupation
Check the O*NET profile for your specific warehouse title. H-1B eligibility hinges on whether the position typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, not just experience or on-the-job training.
Target employers with active LCA filings
Use Migrate Mate to filter warehouse employers by verified DOL Labor Condition Application history. This confirms the employer has already navigated H-1B filing and understands the process, reducing your risk of a sponsorship conversation falling through.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before accepting
H-1B employers are required to enroll in E-Verify. Ask HR directly before you advance in the process. Warehouse operations with high turnover sometimes overlook this requirement, which can delay your start date or void the petition.
Prepare a degree equivalency evaluation early
If your supply chain or industrial engineering credential is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation completed before your employer files. USCIS scrutinizes foreign degree equivalency for warehouse-adjacent H-1B petitions more than many applicants expect.
Understand the LCA wage level for your warehouse tier
Warehouse roles span a wide wage range depending on whether the position is supervisory, analytical, or operational. Run your job title and work location through the OFLC Wage Search to confirm your offered wage meets the certified Level I through IV threshold before signing.
Time your filing around the annual cap window
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed starting April 1 for an October 1 start date. If your warehouse employer misses the USCIS registration window in March, you'll wait a full year. Confirm your employer knows the registration deadline well in advance.

Find Warehouse JobsWarehouse H-1B Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Can a warehouse job qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
Yes, but only if the specific role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field such as supply chain management, industrial engineering, or logistics systems. General warehouse or fulfillment associate positions that accept any degree or no degree typically do not meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard. Supervisory, analytical, or planning-focused warehouse roles have a stronger case.
How do I find warehouse employers who sponsor H-1B visas?
Migrate Mate filters warehouse job listings by employers with verified DOL Labor Condition Application filing history, so you can identify companies that have already sponsored H-1B workers in supply chain and warehouse operations. This is more reliable than checking general job boards, where sponsorship status is often self-reported and unverified.
What degree is required for an H-1B warehouse role?
USCIS requires that the position normally requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific specialty. For warehouse roles, that typically means industrial engineering, supply chain management, operations management, or a closely related field. A general business degree may be accepted if the employer can demonstrate it directly relates to the duties described in the Labor Condition Application.
Does the H-1B cap apply to warehouse jobs at large distribution companies?
Yes, most warehouse employer H-1B petitions are cap-subject, meaning the position competes in the annual USCIS lottery capped at 85,000 visas. Cap-exempt status only applies to nonprofit research organizations, universities, and certain affiliated entities. Large distribution and fulfillment companies, even publicly traded ones, do not qualify for cap exemption.
What happens to my H-1B status if I'm laid off from a warehouse job?
USCIS provides a 60-day grace period after a qualifying termination. During that window you can transfer your H-1B to a new employer without losing your status, provided the new employer files a petition before the grace period expires. If your employer is large enough to trigger layoff notification laws, that notice period counts as part of your 60 days.
