H-1B1 Chile Visa Enterprise Solutions Jobs
Enterprise Solutions jobs in the U.S. are open to Chilean professionals through the H-1B1 Chile visa, which requires no lottery and carries a 1,400-visa annual cap that routinely goes unfilled. Employers filing for enterprise-level roles confirm prevailing wage compliance through the DOL before your consulate appointment, making sponsorship faster than the standard H-1B visa path.

Align your credentials to SOC codes
Enterprise Solutions roles map to multiple Standard Occupational Classification codes. Pull the O*NET profile for your specific function, whether solutions architect, pre-sales engineer, or implementation consultant, to confirm which degree fields satisfy the specialty occupation requirement before applying.
Target employers already filing LCAs
Search the OFLC Wage Search to identify companies that have already filed Labor Condition Applications for enterprise software or solutions roles. Prior LCA filings signal an established H-1B1 visa sponsorship process, reducing the time you spend educating a hiring team on how the visa works.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsors
Filter Enterprise Solutions roles by H-1B1 Chile sponsorship history on Migrate Mate. The platform surfaces employers whose DOL filing records confirm they've supported this visa category, so you can focus outreach on companies already equipped to move through the LCA and consulate process.
Get your credential equivalency documented early
Chilean universitiy degrees are generally accepted, but if your title is non-standard or from a technical institute, obtain a formal credential evaluation before your first interview. Consular officers assess specialty occupation partly through your educational background, and gaps slow down the LCA stage.
Clarify the LCA timeline during offer negotiation
Once you have an offer, ask HR to confirm they have a DOL-registered attorney or filing process ready. The LCA must be certified before you submit your DS-160, so a two-week delay on the employer's end pushes your entire consulate appointment window back.
Prepare for consulate specialty occupation questions
Consular officers at Santiago routinely ask how your degree relates to the specific enterprise solutions role. Bring a one-page summary linking your coursework or Chilean professional title to the technical functions in your job description, matching the language the employer used in the LCA.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do Enterprise Solutions roles qualify as specialty occupations under the H-1B1 Chile visa?
Yes, most Enterprise Solutions positions, including solutions architects, implementation consultants, and pre-sales engineers, qualify because they require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related technical or business field. The employer must document the degree requirement in the Labor Condition Application filed with DOL. Roles where any unrelated bachelor's degree satisfies the requirement are harder to support, so your job description and degree field need to align clearly.
How does the H-1B1 Chile visa compare to the H-1B for landing Enterprise Solutions jobs?
The H-1B1 Chile visa skips the lottery entirely, which means you're not competing against tens of thousands of other registrants for a slot. The 1,400 annual cap for Chilean nationals has never been exhausted, so timing isn't constrained by a single April registration window. The trade-off is that H-1B1 status doesn't carry dual intent, so you'll need to demonstrate nonimmigrant intent at each consular renewal rather than pursuing a green card on the same status.
How can I find Enterprise Solutions employers who already sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas?
Migrate Mate lets you search Enterprise Solutions roles filtered by H-1B1 Chile sponsorship history, drawing on DOL Labor Condition Application data to surface employers who have filed for this visa category before. That's a faster starting point than cold outreach to companies that may not know the H-1B1 Chile visa exists or how to file for it.
Can I switch Enterprise Solutions employers while on H-1B1 Chile status?
Yes, but the process restarts with the new employer. H-1B1 Chile status isn't portable the way an approved H-1B petition can be under AC21 rules. Your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL, and you'll need to attend a new consulate appointment in Chile to obtain the updated visa stamp before re-entering the U.S. in the new role.
What documentation should I bring to the consulate for an Enterprise Solutions H-1B1 Chile visa appointment?
Bring the certified LCA from DOL, your employer's support letter describing the specialty occupation duties, your DS-160 confirmation, degree transcripts and your Chilean professional title if applicable, and any credential evaluation if your degree is from a non-standard institution. For Enterprise Solutions roles, a brief technical summary linking your degree field to the specific functions in your job description helps the consular officer assess specialty occupation eligibility quickly.
