INTRODUCTION
As the Product Marketing Manager of Social Growth, you will be a critical driver of business growth for Google Ads. You will be responsible for developing and executing a sophisticated social media strategy that amplifies most successful content, targets key decision-makers at the world's largest brands and agencies, and generates a predictable pipeline of high-quality leads for sales teams. You will own the social go-to-market execution and will be responsible for optimizing campaigns for maximum business impact. You will require a data-driven and analytical leader with a deep understanding of paid social platforms, a passion for performance marketing, and a proven ability to build and scale lead generation programs that deliver measurable results. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems—from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can—changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

- Collaborate with creatives and agencies to produce social-first video, infographics, and thought-leadership assets that drive the engagement.

Align your degree to the role
H-1B1 Chile requires a specialty occupation, meaning your bachelor's degree must directly relate to Product Marketing. A degree in marketing, communications, or business administration satisfies this. A general arts degree without a marketing concentration may not.
Search verified H-1B1 employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter employers by DOL Labor Condition Application filings for Product Marketing roles. This shows which companies have already filed for H-1B1 visa Chile workers, not just which ones claim to sponsor visas.
Target companies already enrolled in E-Verify
E-Verify enrollment is a strong signal that an employer's HR team handles work authorization paperwork regularly. For Product Marketing roles at mid-size tech and SaaS companies, E-Verify enrollment is common and speeds up your onboarding process.
Request an LCA before your consulate appointment
Your employer must file and receive a certified Labor Condition Application from DOL before you can apply at the consulate. Confirm this is complete before booking your interview slot, since the LCA certification is a hard prerequisite.
Benchmark your offer against OFLC Wage Search data
Your offered salary must meet the prevailing wage for your specific Product Marketing job title and metro area. Pull the wage level from OFLC Wage Search before your offer letter is finalized so your employer can correct any shortfall upfront.
Use O*NET to confirm specialty occupation status
Product Marketing roles typically fall under O*NET's Marketing Managers classification, which carries a Job Zone 4 requirement indicating a bachelor's degree is standard. Print the O*NET profile and include it in your consulate application packet to document specialty occupation clearly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Product Marketing qualify as a specialty occupation for the H-1B1 Chile visa?
Yes, provided your employer documents that the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field such as marketing, communications, or business. A job description that lists a degree as preferred rather than required can create problems at the consulate. Your employer should specify in the LCA and supporting documentation that the degree is a minimum requirement, not a preference.
How does the H-1B1 Chile visa compare to H-1B for Product Marketing professionals?
The H-1B visa1 Chile visa skips the H-1B lottery entirely, which means Chilean Product Marketing professionals can receive a job offer and start the consulate process without waiting for an annual registration result. The tradeoff is that H-1B visa1 Chile does not confer dual intent, so maintaining clear nonimmigrant intent matters at your consulate interview. H-1B1 also renews in two-year increments rather than three.
How do I find U.S. employers who sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas for Product Marketing roles?
Migrate Mate lets you filter job listings by employers who have filed Labor Condition Applications for Product Marketing positions, giving you a verifiable list of companies that have already gone through the sponsorship process. This is more reliable than asking recruiters whether a company sponsors visas, since LCA filings are public DOL records.
What documents does my employer need to prepare for my H-1B1 Chile consulate application?
Your employer needs a certified Labor Condition Application from DOL, a signed offer letter specifying your role and salary, and supporting documentation confirming that the position qualifies as a specialty occupation. You'll bring these to your consulate interview along with your DS-160, visa fee receipt, and educational credentials. The LCA must be certified before your appointment date.
Can I renew my H-1B1 Chile visa while staying in the U.S. if my Product Marketing role continues?
H-1B1 Chile does not support change of status inside the U.S. You renew by applying at a U.S. consulate in Chile, typically requiring a new LCA from your employer and a fresh DS-160. As long as you remain in the same qualifying role and your employer files the updated LCA before your current period expires, the renewal process follows the same consulate path as your initial application.
