MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development (e.g., Java).
- Experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
- Experience in building Distributed systems and Database services.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Database Internals.
- Experience with distributed databases.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple engineers on technically deep projects across the product, collaborating effectively with partners, PM, customers, and other engineering leads.
- Drive the scoping of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure the team is able to execute with strong incremental deliveries. This often requires defining the priorities and balancing the product requirements with technical feasibilities.
- Build well-rounded engineers, distributing work to maximize both product objectives and personal skill development.
