Entry Level Healthcare Sales Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level healthcare sales specialist job?
Entry level healthcare sales specialist roles typically look for candidates who can demonstrate communication skills, comfort with consultative selling, and some exposure to a clinical or business environment through internships, shadowing, or coursework. Highlighting any experience building relationships, meeting targets in any context, or understanding medical products gives you a clear edge over candidates with a generic sales background.
Which companies hire entry level healthcare sales specialists?
Companies hiring entry level healthcare sales specialists right now include Apria Healthcare, Guidepoint, and Quadax, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad mix of medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical distributors, and healthcare technology firms that maintain structured onboarding programs for early-career candidates.
Are there remote entry level healthcare sales specialist jobs?
Yes, though most entry level healthcare sales specialist roles require in-person territory work. About 63% of entry level healthcare sales specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those positions typically involve inside sales, account coordination, or sales support functions rather than field-based territory coverage.
Are these new grad healthcare sales specialist jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or clinical rotations in lieu of full-time history, or explicitly invites candidates who can demonstrate transferable skills through coursework or a portfolio of projects rather than requiring proven sales quotas.
Which industries hire the most entry level healthcare sales specialists?
Entry Level healthcare sales specialist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive early-career hiring because their product cycles, regulatory environments, and reliance on relationship-based selling create consistent demand for candidates who can be trained to a specific product line or customer base.
