Job Overview
As a Hotel front desk agent, you’ll welcome guests, manage check-in and check-out, and keep daily front desk operations moving smoothly. You’ll use hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS), including OPERA where applicable, to manage reservations and guest records. Your hospitality, customer service, and clear communication help guests feel informed and supported throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests, process arrivals and departures, handle reservations, and respond to questions in person and by phone.
- Share accurate information about hotel services, resolve concerns with customer service problem-solving, and coordinate with colleagues to support guest services.
- Maintain reservation and payment records in the PMS; complete night audit tasks when assigned.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures and communicate promptly with the appropriate team members.
- Your impact: By resolving guest needs promptly and coordinating reliable service, you help guests enjoy a smoother, more welcoming stay.
Qualifications
- Essential: Customer service experience, strong phone etiquette, professional phone communication, and clear client communication.
- Essential: A guest-focused approach, attention to detail, and the ability to manage front desk tasks in a busy hospitality setting.
- Preferred: Hotel experience, guest relations, resort experience, or exposure to hotel management or hospitality management.
- Preferred: Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems, PMS platforms, OPERA, night audit, and hotel emergency procedures.
- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are welcome.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
