This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being actively involved in the operation, partnering with leaders, supporting Team Members, and creating a positive and accountable workplace culture. The ideal candidate brings strong hospitality HR experience, sound judgment, a hands-on approach, and the ability to balance employee advocacy with the needs of the business.
What You'll Do
As the Senior Human Resources Manager, you will serve as a trusted HR partner to property leadership and Team Members while supporting the day-to-day and strategic HR needs of the operation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with property and department leaders on employee relations, performance management, coaching, corrective action, and workplace concerns.
- Provide guidance to managers regarding company policies, employment practices, and HR compliance.
- Lead and support investigations while ensuring concerns are handled objectively, consistently, professionally, and timely.
- Support recruiting and retention efforts for hourly, supervisory, management, and leadership positions.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation to ensure new Team Members and leaders receive a welcoming and organized introduction to the company.
- Support performance review processes, goal setting, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Coordinate and support training initiatives, safety programs, employee engagement, recognition, and retention efforts.
- Partner with leadership on attendance, leave administration, workers' compensation, accommodations, and other employee matters.
- Maintain accurate employee documentation and ensure HR records and practices meet company and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor HR trends and identify opportunities to improve engagement, communication, retention, and operational effectiveness.
- Maintain a visible HR presence throughout the operation and build strong relationships with Team Members at all levels.
- Assist with benefits communication, HR systems, reporting, audits, and other HR initiatives.
- Support company-wide HR projects and initiatives as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Previous Human Resources management experience required; hotel, resort, hospitality, or other high-volume service industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and federal, state, and local employment practices.
- Experience handling workplace investigations, corrective actions, performance management, and sensitive employee matters.
- Strong recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee engagement experience.
- Ability to coach and influence managers while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working directly with both hourly Team Members and senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
The Right Person for This Role
You are someone who understands that hospitality HR happens in the operation, not only behind a desk. You are approachable and supportive while still holding leaders and Team Members accountable to company expectations.
You enjoy building relationships, solving problems, developing leaders, improving processes, and helping create a workplace where Team Members feel welcomed, respected, informed, and supported.
Why Join Paramount Hospitality Management?
Join a growing hospitality organization where Human Resources plays an important role in supporting our people, our leaders, and our properties. You'll have the opportunity to make an impact across employee relations, talent acquisition, training, engagement, compliance, and organizational development while partnering closely with hotel leadership.

Human Resources Assistant Jobs in Orlando: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a human resources assistant job in Orlando?
Focus your search on Orlando's largest hiring sectors: hospitality and resort operations, healthcare systems, and the theme park and entertainment industry, which run large HR departments year-round. Convention center and event management companies along International Drive also hire regularly. Candidates with experience in high-volume onboarding, HRIS platforms, or bilingual Spanish skills stand out in Orlando's competitive and diverse labor market.
Which companies hire human resources assistants in Orlando?
Employers hiring human resources assistants in Orlando right now include TERREPOWER, Live Nation, and OPAV, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Orlando's HR hiring is driven by large hospitality groups, regional healthcare networks, and corporate service centers that support multi-site operations throughout Central Florida.
Are there remote human resources assistant jobs in Orlando?
Yes, though with limits, human resources assistant roles that involve in-person onboarding, employee relations, or front-desk HR support are largely on-site by nature, while benefits administration and HRIS data entry skew more flexible. About 100% of human resources assistant openings tied to Orlando are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with hybrid arrangements most common at corporate service centers in the Lake Mary and Maitland business corridors.
How can I get a human resources assistant job in Orlando with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Orlando is through a part-time or seasonal HR support role with a large hospitality or resort employer, many of which run structured onboarding programs that funnel entry-level staff into HR coordination positions. Valencia College and UCF career centers connect students to local HR internships with healthcare systems and corporate employers. Proficiency in an HRIS platform like Workday or ADP and bilingual Spanish ability meaningfully improve your odds with Orlando employers.
