General Position Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of our HR practices and processes. The HR Manager will play a key role in supporting the organization's growth by developing policies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee employee performance management, training, and development initiatives
- Administer compensation and benefits programs
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal regulations
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR matters
- Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure HR records and documentation are up to date and confidential
- Monitor HR metrics and analyze data to inform business decisions
- Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace environment
- Manage and administer immigration matters, including visa processing and compliance
- Prepare and deliver monthly HR reports for leadership review
- Manage and oversee the administration of surveys to gauge employee sentiment
- Implement projects, events, and processes that create a inclusive, welcoming, and professional culture
- Manage the full onboarding process to align with business needs
- Lead, manage, and support the HR team, including assigning tasks, providing mentorship, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering professional development
- Oversee the end-to-end visa and immigration process for employees, partnering with external legal counsel to manage sponsorships, renewals, and permanent residency applications efficiently.
Required Competencies and Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building capabilities
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office software
- Familiarity with HR, labor laws, and onboarding compliance (e.g., I-9, E-Verify)
- Respond to internal and HQ requests for updates, reports, and operational insights
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with non-native or limited-English speakers
