OUR VALUE PROPOSITION
This is a uniquely exciting time to join Karyopharm Therapeutics where we are pioneering the science of nuclear export inhibition to develop differentiated therapies for patients with cancer. We are building upon an established commercial foundation in multiple myeloma while advancing the potential of selinexor across additional hematologic and solid tumor cancers including myelofibrosis and TP53 wild-type endometrial cancer, areas where patients continue to face significant unmet needs. Our lead therapy, XPOVIO ® (selinexor), is a first-in-class inhibitor of exportin 1 (XPO1) and is approved in the U.S. for adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, with approvals in more than 50 countries and territories outside the U.S. We are also exploring opportunities to evaluate XPO1 inhibition across myeloproliferative neoplasms and TP53 wild-type driven solid tumors using next-generation compounds, including eltanexor. As we prepare for our next phase of growth, we are continuing to invest in critical capabilities across the organization to support future opportunities and deepen our impact in oncology. We are looking for talented people who are motivated by meaningful work, energized by growth and momentum, and excited by the opportunity to help shape what comes next in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where individual contributions are visible and valued.

Tips for Your Infrastructure And Operations Job Search
Tailor your resume to each environment
Hiring managers in infrastructure and operations care deeply about the specific environments you have managed. Call out whether your experience is on-premises, cloud-based, or hybrid, and name the platforms you have administered, such as VMware, AWS, or Azure.
Lead with certifications above your degree
For most infrastructure and operations roles, an active CompTIA, Cisco, or ITIL certification outweighs your degree field on an applicant tracking system. List current certs at the top of your resume, not buried in an education section.
Filter openings by environment type first
Search by keywords like 'on-prem', 'hybrid cloud', or 'data center' rather than just job title. Infrastructure and operations roles with the same name can require entirely different skill sets depending on the environment the team runs.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists infrastructure and operations openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Prepare for scenario-based technical questions
Infrastructure and operations interviews almost always include a live troubleshooting scenario. Walk the interviewer through your diagnostic process step by step, naming the tools you would use, rather than jumping straight to a conclusion.
Negotiate on-call terms before accepting an offer
On-call rotation frequency and compensation vary widely across infrastructure and operations teams. Ask during the offer stage how rotations are structured, how incidents are escalated, and whether on-call hours are compensated separately from base salary.
Infrastructure And Operations Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most infrastructure and operations professionals?
The companies hiring the most infrastructure and operations professionals right now include Walmart, Fitch Ratings, and Humana, with the largest share of openings in California, New York, and Texas, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Demand tends to be highest at large enterprises, managed service providers, and government contractors with complex IT environments.
How many infrastructure and operations jobs are remote?
About 38% of infrastructure and operations openings are fully remote or hybrid as of June 2026, though the share varies significantly by sub-discipline. Cloud operations, NOC monitoring, and IT service management roles are most likely to be fully remote, while hands-on data center and network hardware roles almost always require an on-site presence.
How do you become an infrastructure and operations professional?
Start by earning a foundational certification such as CompTIA A+ or Network+, which demonstrates baseline technical competency to employers. Build hands-on experience through a help desk or junior systems administrator role, then specialize in a platform like Cisco networking or cloud infrastructure. Progress to senior roles by leading incident response, capacity planning, and cross-team infrastructure projects.
Can I get an infrastructure and operations job with little experience?
Yes, entry-level infrastructure and operations roles exist specifically for candidates coming from help desk, IT support, or technical internships. Focus on earning one or two recognized certifications before applying, and highlight any home lab work, virtual machine setups, or network configurations you have built independently. Employers in managed service environments often hire and train candidates who show strong foundational knowledge.
What does the infrastructure and operations interview process look like?
Most infrastructure and operations interviews include an initial recruiter screen, a technical phone or video interview covering core concepts like networking, storage, and operating systems, and a practical scenario round where you troubleshoot a simulated incident or design a solution. Final rounds often involve meeting the team lead and discussing past outage responses, on-call experience, and how you have handled capacity or performance challenges.
Where can I find and apply to infrastructure and operations jobs?
You can find and apply to infrastructure and operations jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers across the United States. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience level, technical environment, and location preference, then apply directly to each one that fits.
