TECHNICAL INSIDE SALES SPECIALIST POSITION
COLE INDUSTRIAL, INC., founded in 1964, is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Specialist to join our headquarters office in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. Cole Industrial specializes in power plant, heating, mechanical contracting and industrial products including packaged boilers, industrial burners, heat exchangers and other boiler plant equipment for various applications. Cole provides new product sales, service, parts, technical support, testing and training throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. The primary focus of our inside technical sales position will be to support all of our company departments and our outside sales team.
We are seeking a qualified boiler technical sales specialist to join the sales team in Mountlake Terrace, Washington.
Location
Mountlake Terrace, WANew Equipment Sales – Basic Functions
- This position reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for providing technical sales support to all Cole departments and outside sales force with our manufacturers and product lines. Position will have alignment with Cole Industrial’s growth and business development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Equipment / system sizing and selection
- Departmental and customer technical support with application reviews and economic analysis
- Technical evaluation of specifications, plans, order documents, and submittal data Assistance with preparing proposals, product presentations & bidding opportunities
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience with technical sales, boiler systems or mechanical systems
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or similar field
- Thorough technical knowledge of mechanical systems applications
- Strong skill set and comfort using various company and manufacture programs (MS-Office platform / ACUMATICA / Power-Up / etc.)
- Strong written & verbal communications skills including writing detailed proposals, review of Specifications & RFQ’s, and quality control of Submittal documents
- Team player mentality
- Self-sufficient attitude
