Position Overview

Maxsave Insurance Services is seeking motivated, sales-driven individuals to join our team as Commercial Insurance Sales Agents. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about helping business owners protect their operations, employees, vehicles, and assets through the right insurance solutions.

In this role, you will work with business owners and commercial clients to identify their insurance needs, provide competitive quotes, and recommend coverage options tailored to their businesses. Our commercial insurance offerings include commercial auto, business insurance, and workers’ compensation.

We are looking for individuals who are goal-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to build strong client relationships while growing their sales and insurance expertise.

Responsibilities

• Generate and develop new commercial insurance business through inbound leads, outbound sales efforts, referrals, and client relationships.
• Identify the insurance needs of business owners and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Quote and sell commercial auto insurance, business insurance, general liability, workers’ compensation, and other available commercial products.
• Gather client information, assess business risks, and prepare accurate insurance quotes.
• Work with insurance carriers to obtain competitive pricing and suitable coverage options.
• Explain policy terms, coverage limits, exclusions, and insurance requirements to clients.
• Follow up with prospective clients, maintain a sales pipeline, and convert quotes into bound policies.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage renewals, referrals, and additional business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and policy information within company systems.
• Follow applicable insurance regulations, carrier guidelines, and company procedures.
• Meet established sales goals and contribute to the continued growth of the commercial insurance department.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in commercial insurance sales, insurance production, or business-to-business sales is preferred.
• A current Property and Casualty insurance license is preferred; candidates must obtain any required licenses before performing regulated insurance activities.
• Knowledge of commercial auto, general liability, business owners policies (BOP), and workers’ compensation is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working toward sales goals.
• Strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple leads and accounts.
• Willingness to learn new carrier products, underwriting requirements, and sales strategies.
