Job Summary
You Insurance Agency, an independent agency in Garner, NC, is hiring a full-time Insurance Sales Representative for our Garner office. This is a salaried staff position with a set schedule. You will work the leads the agency provides and sell home and auto insurance to local customers.
Salary
$40,000 per year, paid on a regular payroll schedule. Commission is paid on new business in addition to the salary. Salary is reviewed annually.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, daytime hours, in person at our Garner office.
Duties
- Contact and follow up with the leads the agency provides
- Prepare home and auto insurance quotes using agency software
- Explain coverage options to customers and complete applications
- Service existing customers, including policy changes and billing questions
- Keep customer records current in the agency CRM
- Meet weekly activity goals set with your manager
Requirements
- Active North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license
- Experience selling or servicing personal lines insurance
- Strong phone, email and customer service skills
- Comfortable with computers, CRM software and quoting systems
- Able to work full-time, in person, at our Garner office
Preferred
- North Carolina Life insurance license
- Experience with agency management systems or comparative raters
