Established dental office for 60 years in south suburbs is looking for a billing/business front office specialist. We are a PPO/FFS office. We utilize eaglesoft software.
The ideal candidate should be friendly, organized, motivated and detail-oriented. We are looking for someone to represent our office in a positive manner to create a comfortable, and professional environment. Good communication is a must. Applicants must display outstanding customer service.
Job Type: F/T
Work Location: In person
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices to clients
- Review and verify billing data and ensure all necessary documentation is included
- Resolve billing discrepancies and issues with clients
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and complete billing information
- Maintain billing records and documentation
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to billing
Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Knowledge of public accounting practices and procedures
- Proficient in data entry and attention to detail
- Familiarity with technical accounting and coding standards
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and resolve inquiries
- Experience in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Strong negotiation skills to address payment disputes or overdue accounts
- Proficiency in using accounting software for billing purposes
