Job Title: IT Business Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week)
Interview: Initial Screening + In-Person Interview
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Eastern Time Zone Business Hours
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, technical, and data requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, interviews, and JAD sessions.
- Create AS-IS and TO-BE process documentation, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and UI mockups.
- Develop business cases, use cases, user stories, process maps, data models, and functional specifications.
- Support IT procurement activities including SOW development, vendor evaluations, solicitation packages, and contract documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Support UAT, requirements traceability, process improvement initiatives, and solution delivery.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and project documentation while managing multiple priorities and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of IT Business Analysis experience supporting IT projects, system implementations, or technology procurements.
- Strong knowledge of business process analysis methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Experience gathering and managing complex business, functional, and data requirements.
- Expertise in process mapping, workflow documentation, AS-IS/TO-BE analysis, and UI mockups.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Experience developing Statements of Work (SOW), procurement artifacts, and contract-related documentation.
- Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting government or public-sector IT initiatives.
- Experience with procurement lifecycle management and vendor coordination.
- Knowledge of Jira, ServiceNow, Visio, SharePoint, Balsamiq, or similar tools.
- CBAP Certification (preferred).
- Experience with business process improvement, workflow automation, and enterprise applications.
