Roles concentrate in the Domain, downtown's financial district, and the South Lamar corridor. Candidates who combine data skills with industry-specific tools like SQL, Tableau, or Excel stand out locally, as do those with internship experience at Austin-area employers or UT Austin's McCombs School alumni network.

Fully on-site roles remain common at banks, healthcare systems, and government contractors operating in the area.
How can I get a junior analyst job in Austin with little or no experience?
