Job Summary

We are an established employee-owned precision grinding and machine shop in Dallas, TX looking for dependable individuals to join our team as Grinder / Machine Operators.

No previous grinding or machining experience is required. We are willing to train the right person.

What You'll Do

As a Grinder / Machine Operator, you will learn to operate precision grinding and manufacturing equipment used to produce parts according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities include:

• Learn to set up and operate grinding and other production machinery
• Load and unload parts from machines
• Follow work orders and job instructions
• Learn to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings
• Learn to use precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
• Monitor machines during operation
• Make basic machine adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records
• Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
• Follow company quality and safety procedures
• Work with supervisors and other team members to meet production requirements
• Perform other shop and manufacturing duties as needed

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand for extended periods
• Bend, reach, and move throughout the work area
• Work around manufacturing machinery
