Entry Level Laundry Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level laundry job?
Start by highlighting any hands-on experience you have, whether from a school program, internship, volunteer work, or part-time job involving cleaning or textiles. Entry level laundry employers typically look for reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to follow safety and sorting procedures. A brief cover letter that shows you understand the physical demands and team environment gives you a clear edge over candidates who apply without one.
Which companies hire entry level laundrys?
Companies hiring entry level laundrys right now include LG Electronics, Omni Hotels, and Capital Vacations, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from healthcare facilities, hospitality groups, and commercial laundry services that maintain high-volume linen operations and bring on new workers to train in-house.
Are there remote entry level laundry jobs?
Yes, though most laundry roles are hands-on and on-site by nature. About 0% of entry level laundry openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those positions typically involve coordination, scheduling, or customer service functions within laundry operations rather than the physical work itself.
Are these new grad laundry jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles that explicitly welcome candidates with little or no professional experience. A new grad-friendly laundry posting typically states that zero to two years of experience is acceptable and may list internships, vocational training, or a demonstrated ability to follow procedure as sufficient qualifications in place of a long work history.
Which industries hire the most entry level laundrys?
Entry Level laundry roles concentrate in Hospitality & Tourism, Electronics & Hardware, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they operate large-scale linen and uniform programs that require consistent staffing and are well-suited to training candidates who are new to the field.
