Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and light repairs, including fixing door handles, repairing fixtures, and installing appliances.
- Undertake carpentry, painting, and minor electrical or plumbing tasks.
- Conduct inspections and report maintenance issues, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with renovation projects, such as replacing doors, windows, or installing cabinets
- Safely operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment
- Occasionally perform emergency repairs or other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to be covered by Tri-Ko, Inc. corporate vehicle insurance.
- Pass Background Check.
- High School Diploma/GED/Vocational Training or Apprenticeships and/or 2+ years in Building Maintenance.
- Practical experience in construction, mechanical and electrical fields.
- Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Be physically and mentally capable of operating corporate vehicles in a safe manner.
- Perform physical maneuvers such as bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, etc.
- Report to work on site, on time, work the full shift and be flexible regarding work locations.
- Communicate through verbal, written and electronic mediums.
Work Environment
- Work may occur in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Tasks may involve heavy lifting, working at heights, or in confined spaces.
- Maintenance Technician I may work independently or as part of a maintenance team.
Accountability
- Position reports to the Facility Manager.
- May be assigned additional duties by Facility Manager.
- May be assigned additional duties by Director of Day Programing.

This position is classified as a non-exempt position. Wages will be paid at an hourly rate. The general hours of work are 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hours may vary as tasks require. Full employee benefits are available for this position.
