Entry Level Marketing And Events Coordinator Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level marketing and events coordinator job?
Employers hiring at this level look for candidates who can show hands-on experience, even if it came from a college event committee, a campus organization, or a short internship. A portfolio with real examples, such as a social media campaign, a small event you managed, or promotional materials you created, carries more weight than GPA alone. Familiarity with tools like Canva, Eventbrite, or a basic CRM also helps you stand out.
Which companies hire entry level marketing and events coordinators?
Companies hiring entry level marketing and events coordinators right now include iCIMS, Whatnot, and Qualcomm, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including nonprofits, hospitality brands, agencies, and corporate marketing teams that build their coordinator pipeline from recent graduates.
Are there remote entry level marketing and events coordinator jobs?
Yes, though many coordinator roles still involve on-site event support. About 50% of entry level marketing and events coordinator openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with remote work more common on the marketing and communications side of the role than on event-day logistics, which typically requires a physical presence.
Are these new grad marketing and events coordinator jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or volunteer event work toward that requirement, or asks for a portfolio rather than a long employment history. If a listing does not require prior full-time experience, it is appropriate for a new grad applying for their first role.
Which industries hire the most entry level marketing and events coordinators?
Entry Level marketing and events coordinator roles concentrate in Retail, Technology & Software, and Automotive, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they run frequent campaigns and recurring events that need coordinator support without requiring candidates to bring years of prior experience.
